Nice people and good place for pets to stay. Very hard to locate, though. Maps doesn't take you the right way. Call for directions. Also, there is a pasture of donkeys across the way (My fav part) !!

I would not take my pets anywhere else to board. The proprietor has years of experience and treats my pets as if they were her own. Also, she lives near the kennel property so she can be there at a moment's notice if the need arises. My dog is very skittish about staying at the vet but always seems happy when I come to pick him up from Ravenwood. One benefit that Ravenwood offers is the ability to pick pets up on Sunday evening between 5pm and 7pm. This is extremely convenient for me as I normally arrive back in town on Sundays and most other places will make you wait until Monday to pick your pets up.

We came to Knoxville for a short trip. I searched and searched for a good place to take our Dane so we could make a day trip and found Sherry (sorry if I spelled your name wrong!) at Ravenwood. Plans didn’t work out and we had to go home early but the amount of times I had to call and change days or times with her was probably quite annoying, yet she was so sweet, helpful, and accommodating. She was so warm and I felt 100% positive about trusting her and her facilities with our 115lb puppy. Her prices are amazing but I feel she deserves so much more for her hard work. Thank you so much for your patience, care, and understanding. I would recommend this place to anyone and hopefully we get to come back!

As an Animal Rights Activist an dog trainer I have bringing my cats and dogs here for over 20 years. Cheri Roop is dedicated to providing a safe, caring environment for those under her care. She one time noted one of my days experiencing a Life threatening illness & accessed vet care, saving his Life After Hours!

Cheri helped us out in a pinch and we will never be more grateful! I barely trust my close friends with my dog, let alone a stranger but Cheri was empathetic and treated my pup like her own. I was able to have a worry free trip and when I picked my girl up, she had a huge smile on her face (see pic). Thank you Cheri and Ravenwood Kennels!
