Description Get A Gato is a 501c3 organization who's mission is to help save as many of Philadelphia's stray cats as possible. We partner with Fishtails Animal Rescue to give our lounge cats the best chance of finding the purrrfect home. In-turn this allows them to clear space in their shelter and intake more cats. All proceeds from our cat lounge go directly to caring for our adoptable cats.

Love the Get a Gato Cat Cafe non-profit now open on Christian Street. Owner Jackie and I both had black & white family cats named Oreo. Great food, drinks and cat-themed gifts. For a small fee, you can hang out with a few adoptable cats from Fishtails Animal Rescue

sweetest set up to love on adorable adoptable cats! this was our first cat cafe experience and I couldn’t imagine a more thought out and beautiful space filled with enrichment for the cats and cozy spots for them to nestle up and relax. such an amazing experience! cat tables + chairs in the cafe and delicious bites + merch. truly so thoughtfully designed + curated! cannot wait to come back time and time again!

Super cute cafe with great coffee! My husband and I loved watching the cats play while enjoying our coffee and pastries. The decor is great and I couldn’t resist buying some of their merch! To anyone that might be deterred by the 2 negative reviews from the heartless ‘hoomans’, the cafe just opened and they are working to acclimate their cats to ensure they are happy and comfortable. That is why they only have 5 cats at the moment. This is an amazing cafe and definitely worth a visit!

Wonderful place, the attendant in the cat side was very attentive to the stimulation level of the cats, moving them around and directing them to their private litterbox room as needed. Even if you don't enter the cat side you can observe through the big window. The churro was fantastic and I'm excited to come back more to meet new kitties and try more of their menu!

We had the best time at Get A Gato! The cafe was great - food and drinks are well priced and well priced. We got to play with the sweetest cats! Our 9 year and old and 15 year old were delighted.
