I got my handsome cat from PAWs old city last year. I recently went to PAWs Grays Ferry for his annual wellness and they did a great job with his care. The staff was so friendly and professional. The price was very cheap compared to what other vets and animal hospitals charge. It is very hard to get an appointment so recommend planning ahead of time! Overall highly recommend adopting your future cat or dog from this adoption shelter as well as low cost vaccines or medical needs for your animal needs!
They really helped money wise getting my puppy spayed, get shots and a chip put in. All for under 70.00 bucks! They try to help if you can't afford the medical bills.
I love Paws. I have been taking my pitties there for over 17 years. They do not lie or manipulate you to extract more money from you. They are open and honest about caring for their furry clients and supportive of their human loved ones.
Called left a voicemail on Friday, Saturday someone calls me back and tells me they do help with funding for people who are going through cancer and that I should call back on Tuesday to see if I could schedule a appointment for my cat. However I spoke with someone today that acted like I was speaking a different language. They should be removed from cancer care website as being a helpful clinic if all employees aren’t trained correctly to speak with sick people considered with getting there cat/dog checked out and vaccines.
Love Paws! The clinic is clean and efficient. The staff is always pleasant. It’s important to schedule appointments in advance for check ups. Don’t wait for when your furry baby’s are sick. Preventative care is so important. I just visited them for their yearly check up, one needs to go to a vet that can perform yet they cleaning because the vet noticed a little redness in her gums. She also has a small hot spot that is being treated. Office visits are $25.00 not including medication, etc. but very inexpensive. I could go to a fancy vet but I’d rather support Paws and help support a good cause! On the weekends they offer vaccinations without an appointment. I believe it costs $25.00 per animal. $10.00 for nails clipped. I would highly recommend Paws!
I have been coming to PAWS with all 4 of my pets for years and adopted my dog from here as well. they offer loving, affordable pet care. my only complaint is the vet that has been at the practice for a bit now. i’ve been there twice with 2 different pets and each time, she has been shockingly rude. her outrageously passive aggressive and condescending bedside manner is so off putting, I would honestly rather drive 40 min to the northeast center or just pay extra to go elsewhere. I won’t give up on PAWS, but I really hope this provider can change their bedside manner, if not negative attitude.
