first time dog owner, picked this place cuz it was a block away and had pretty good reviews. Everyone was AMAZING, friendly and caring. They all genuinely were invested in the job and I look forward to coming back for years to come. Shout out to the front desk! Prices also seemed extremely reasonable especially for Philly.

Companion consistently has the best vet service for my senior cats & I have tried many clinics in the city. Very thorough. It’s easy to schedule/reschedule appointments online and they are on time. Super responsive by phone/email and their pricing is reasonable and transparent. And there’s parking!!

Have been taking my cat to Companion for a few years now, but today they really knocked it out of the park. My mom and I found a stray dog in her neighborhood that had obviously been roaming the street for some time. We weren’t sure what to do long term, but wanted to make sure the pup got checked out. Brought the little lady in today and not only did she receive excellent care, but the team at Companion made sure I had all the information needed to make an educated decision on how to move forward with this stray. Every staff member we encountered seemed genuinely invested in the dog’s well being. As a result of the visit, we decided to go ahead and keep the little girl and are calling her Dottie! Huge thank you to the team at Companion Pet Hospital!!

We felt that our pet received great care during his last visit. We are grateful to have a local vet who takes the time to hear our concerns and love our pet as much as we do. It is a little bit pricey here, but the convenience and quality of care if worth it to us!

We absolutely love Companion Pet Hospital! Our rescue pittie has very complex health issues. We have spent tens of thousands at other Vets and seen no improvement, or worse, more health problems. Dr Shakory is so thoughtful and patient with his care! She never suggests a course of action that she doesn’t believe will give us a result or at least some answers. She is mindful and respectful of our budget. She does everything she can to make our visits affordable and avoid unnecessary spending. Most importantly, our dogs quality of life has increased significantly. I know she goes above and beyond for our little pittie and I appreciate it so much! She treats him like her own pet! Every tech we’ve worked with has also been very kind and knowledgeable. Thanks to their patience, he is no longer terrified of the vet. Booking is super easy and the receptionist staff is very efficient and competent! Before our first appointment, Eric (receptionist) took the time to help us pick a Dr that would be a good fit for our senior dog and he always knows who I am when I come in. He is a complete delight! We’ve had some prescriptions filled here as well and we always receive our medications quickly and for a fair price. Also, they are the ONLY fear free Vet in the city. You cannot get any better for your pet than Companion Pet Hospital!
