I absolutely love this place! I have been a client here since my doggo was a small pup till now at 5 years old (pictured) . I remember looking around for local vet places around town that was affordable especially when I was in college and I came across this place. They beat everybody else’s prices and are super accommodating in regards to what you can and can’t afford. They always give you estimates beforehand just to go ahead and confirm that everything is good and price affordable. My Dog Levi is a bit of a bigger boy, and he can be kind of reactive towards other animals, and they always accommodate and make him feel secure. I absolutely love the way that they treat patients and our fur babies. I’ve already recommended two friends to go here, and they absolutely love the care and dedication that they put towards our pets.

I love this place. I met them through my first rescue 10 yrs ago at the San Marcos animal shelter where Dr J volunteered. I have been taking my fur babies there ever since. I prefer quality treatment and customer service over cost. They are always friendly to the family, but my pets get more love. They make sure your questions are answered and make understand before you leave. They are also good about follow-up calls. Good respectful crew. Always happy.

Dr. Medina is an amazing veterinarian! It’s clear how much she cares about animals, as demonstrated by the way lovingly & respectfully handles. She greets not only the pet parent but the pet too. !Meow gusta! Having been through some scary health moments, it’s been a blessing and relief to have her at the helm helping us make informed decisions that will encompass adequate, appropriate, affordable care. The vet techs are also wonderful!! They’ve always handled our pets with care and treated them well, especially when they’re scared or having a tough time with the exam. Appointments have always run on time but never seemed rushed. Treatment options are offered and discussed so I’m left feeling comfortable & confident in the choice I’ve made. Dr. Medina is a jewel. I can’t imagine entrusting my pets to anyone else except her & the staff at Animal Care Center of Hays County.

My kitty was treated like the precious, beautiful angel baby queen that she is. Every staff member was gentle and patient with her and I trusted them almost immediately. The tech even took time to show me how to give my baby her medicine. I will be back 1,000% and recommend 10/10!

I am a first time cat owner and have been taking my kitty to Animal Care Center for the past 3 years. All staff members have always been so kind and welcoming. Recently my cat had to have 4 teeth pulled, I was very nervouse about the whole thing. The entire staff here made the whole process better than I could have ever asked for! Dr. Breill and her team asnwered all my questions and then some. If you're looking for a vet in the San Marcos area this is it!
