I just moved to Nevada from Florida- so completely new to the west coast. I was really hesitant on finding a vet here but decided on Southwest as my first vet to try. The experience walking in was delightful, two separate entrances for cats & dogs which was so cool. My fur babes is reactive with small dogs, so they made sure to separate any animals and were so understanding and accommodating. The staff is amazing and the service was incredible from the moment I walked in! Shari (I think is how you spell it) was soo sweet at the front. Danielle, whom I believe is a vet tech, treated my dog with so much love that my dog felt comfortable to fall asleep. There was also a young gentleman who was so kind as well ( I never got his name). Doctor Perron came in and took the time to explain the concerns I had with my dog and even broke it down with science. Honest, genuine & credible! I've never had an experience like that at a vet before and will definitely return as a loyal customer! The prices for an exam, vaccine & medicine are so reasonable and they had little treat goodie bags for your fur babes. Our first experience here was amazing!

Today I brought my dog for the first time to you guys. I was very nervous. My dog was very scared but when I met the stuff, everyone was wonderful and Kathy was so good with my dog and when she brought him out after so many hours he looks like another dog thank you so much Kathy and thank you everyone, I will be back 🥰🥰

I was told I need to leave my dog overnight or it will definitely die if I bring it home. I was told the only chance my dog had to live was to stay overnight in intensive care. They killed both my dogs within hours of staying overnight. Of course they charged me $600+ both times then killed my dog within hours. One dog sat in a cage for 7 hours throwing up blood without being cared for. The vet said, "I was busy with other patients" but they told me to bring him in right away because he probably has internal bleeding yet they let him sit without care for 7 hours. After collecting $600+ and telling me he would die if I took him home they killed him within 5 hours. If you love your pet stay away from this kill facility.

The girls at the front counter are nice and helpful. With that being said, the vet (older lady with long black straight hair) is absolutely horrible. I gave this place a second chance thinking it was just bad luck the first time. I Thought maybe I would get a different vet to help me but unfortuneately I got stuck with this little snob once again. This place is why my dog hates the vet. She should find a different job, perhaps at a gas station or maybe the DMV. I brought my dog here when he was 6 months old to have stitches removed from his ears being cropped. He wouldn't sit still and the vet got frustrated and asked me to leave the room. They were thinking maybe he would act different without me being in there. That didn't work so I was told I needed to buy sedation meds from them (which I did), and bring him in the following day. I was actually able to remove the stitches myself that same evening and did not return the following day. I instead, kept the medications I purchased and never used them. So here we are a year later and I made an appointment to get his yearly shots and wellness check. I made the appointment and told them I might as well use these meds from the last visit, which I still have just to avoid my dog having anxiety etc.. I was told to come in and get new ones as these may be expired. I came in yesterday and they charged me for the new meds again. After paying for the meds, one of the vets or techs overheard our discussion and advised me that my meds should be fine and I didn't need new ones. So they attempted to refund me and accidentally charged me again. No big deal as long as they fix it I'm not upset about that. We all make mistakes. No worries. This medication was MY IDEA. It was NOT REQUIRED! I took the day off work and spent all last night and today in preparation for this visit. The last medication was supposed to take right before the visit had evaporated from the syringe. I got there early with my dog and let them know about the oral medication evaporating. The skinny long black haired lady refused to let me bring my dog inside because of this. This made absolutely NO sense. He is a tiny loving friendly bully, and again, this was MY IDEA!!!! If she was scared of my dog (which she hasnt even seen since he was a puppy), they have muzzles! which I was told is what they usually do ANYWAYS when there is a problem/concern. She was just busy and saw an opportunity to lighten the workload and go home early on a Saturday. It did not matter to her that my entire friday and weekend was planned around this office visit. This is NOT the only bad experience I've had at this clinic with this woman either. I have two dogs! I brought my other dog in for a skin allergy. Instead of addressing my concerns, I was forced to participate in a discussion about my dogs balls/nut-sack for 25 minutes. This woman is obsessed with cutting off dogs balls. I explained to her that he is too young and that if you neuter them before they are grown you are preventing them from developing properly. Removing the testes at 6 months old is going to decrease the testosterone levels necessary to develop bone density and muscle sustainability. Neutering dogs at a young age will double the chances of getting hip dysplasia as well as many other undesirable side effects. Dogs are one of gods creatures, they are of his design and the testicles are there for a reason. My dogs balls/nut-sack WILL absolutely be remaining attached to his body. I brought my dog in with health concerns and instead had to entertain this woman's ball removal/nut-sack cutting fetish for the whole entire visit. She is pushy, does not listen, and manipulates the situation to benefit her schedule at her convenience. I feel sorry for anybody who has to work with her. She has literally made me and my animals HATE going to the VET!

To whom it may concern, I left the review about the services refused by the lady with long straight black hair. Maybe she doesn't have the title of "Vetrenarian" but she is absolutely the one who told the ladies at the front desk to send me away. You said that I must be confused? No, Both of my animals have been going here for two years! You are the only Green building with orange paint right there by Tropicana and jones. Everybody at the front desk knows who I am. DO NOT try to say that I must have you confused with another clinic. You would actually have a nice practice if not for that woman who has made each of my visits a complete waste of time and money. Just hold her accountable! I bet she never even told the vet I was there. I bet if the vet or the owner knew that i was turned away from my 4:15 pm appointment today (Saturday March 23rd) they would be unhappy and embarrassed to say the least. The lady you're referring to with the short blonde hair is very friendly and helpful. I'm not talking about her. You know exactly who I'm talking about. I'm starting to believe that the person who oversees the reviews on Google and the person who sent me and my dog away today ARE THE SAME PERSON. Perhaps you are the woman who turned me away and that's why you're acting clueless because you don't want your boss to know the little stunt you pulled today. Nice try! Almost like you were waiting for me to leave this review. Saturday night... after work.... Weird how you were just able to respond within 5 minutes of my review? You were waiting for this.... You wanted to go home early so you made up an excuse. Like I said in my initial review. FIND ANOTHER JOB!

The lady I seen was actually very rude . I was explaining how my dog acts when she wants food down and she had the nerve to say...No she doesn't! I'm sorry but I don't appreciate some lady who doesn't know me or my dog acts as if I'm lying also she has attitude when I asked if they could clip her nails ..she said oh we will bring her back again with this little attitude.and I'm wondering why nothing was done in front of me in the first place So I probably won't be back there again . I will drive further next time.
