Horrible "shelter".They are a kill shelter and euthanize pets all the time. They are not in the "business" of saving pets, rather doing what's convenient. I was looking for a shelter to bring in a pregnant stray dog, but they were all full. When I called Conroe Animal "Shelter" they said they'll take her. I was thinking they were going to look out for her... Turns out they euthanized her in less than a week. Horrible management, administration, and policies. They don't do whats right and moral.

We are offering a $500 reward to whoever returns our dog. If you have her and you are reading this ~ we will even buy you your own if you'd give us ours back. We want her home with us! She got out and made it to the gas station that is right by our house where someone picked her up within 15 minutes of her getting lost. She was picked up Friday 11/22 from Fuel Maxx around 730am on FM 1484 & South Williams. We've put up posters/banners and hoping the person sees it soon. We're also hoping the store manager will come through and release the footage to us! All we know right now is a girl picked her up in a car - the license plate is in the front windshield and being told by moco sheriff's that it's not visible from the camera.

Staff are so friendly and accommodating! Got my first puppy on 12/31 and they have educated me on how to care for her. You can see everyone has a passion for animals. I will definitely be back to rescue another dog soon ❤️

Wonderful staff and very clean facilities. There were lots of cats and dogs available for adoption on the day that we visited. Looking for a dog? They have a playground where you can take the dog off the leash to interact with. We spent time with a dog named Lucky. Lucky was calm, great with multiple children, loved being hugged, and really enjoyed chasing after a ball. I like the cage free cat rooms. We spent the majority of our time loving all the sweet and social cats.

It’s really hard to get my cat neutered since they no longer offer it. I am having to chase down this “care corporation” which I don’t think exists. The numbers I have been given have all been dead ends. The care corporation numbers I call; the people on the other line are rude and unhealthful. I paid $85 to include neuter and spay and I am about regretting paying that much since I can’t even get my cat neutered at this point.
