I can’t praise the Animal Medical Center highly enough. I recently moved to the area and had not found a new vet yet. I had an emergency with my pup and called the clinic. They got us in the same day. No long wait- they took us to a room right away and got her taken care of. I ended up taking my other pup there a few weeks later for an ear infection. The staff here are compassionate and hardworking. Dr. Chaudhry is professional, kind and transparent. He makes sure you understand what is happening with your pup and why, so you are educated going forward. He provided clear instructions, and advice for how to best care for my pups in the future. Additionally, they are very aware that vet visits and medicine can be costly. Their prices are very reasonable, so you can feel at ease knowing your pup is going to be well taken care without it costing an arm and a leg. Dr. Chaudhry also recommended multiple treatment paths (all equally effective, just different costs) so I could decide without feeling pressured to go one specific route.

I was initially impressed with this clinic because of their availability and pleasant staff, however my poor dog was grossly misdiagnosed and I wasted alot of money and time with this vet. My dog had been experiencing excessive itchiness, worse than ever before, for the past few months. He previsously took apoquel with success. This time he was prescribed apoquel and cefpodoxime which did not work at all. After several weeks his hind legs, belly and tail were extremely irritated with patchy areas forming on his tail. This vet told me that was from him biting and licking. He prescribed the same exact medications AGAIN. I also mentioned my other dog was itchy although he never had skin issues before. I grew tired of watching my dogs suffer and took them back to Chadwell. As soon as the she saw him, she suspected mange/scabies. Skin scraping test performed and POSITIVE for scabies. My dogs are now being properly treated after a few months of agony. Not to mention the deep cleaning I had to do in the home. When your concerns are not being addressed, go elsewhere immediately.

I was having such a hard time with my old vet and not being able to get my dogs in to see them when they really needed it. Let me tell you, Animal Medical Center of Bel Air took my pups in within an hour of me calling them! Not only that, they were super quick to see them when I got there, and were so attentive to their needs! I was stunned compared to my previous vet. I didn’t know what quality vet care was until I went here! They are absolutely amazing!

I want to thank the staff for their love, kindness, grace and mercy for helping us through our dogs end of life. Vets and staff here and everywhere are truly unsung heroes!! Thanks for the respect, love and dignity you showed us. Louie and Cooper came in to this world together and left together. How beautiful! They will be missed after 16 years.
