To the lady that was driving truck # SB1932, learn how to drive. This lady was speeding and tailgating. She is the poster child for aggressive driving. It would also be nice if you didn't fly across all lanes of traffic on ih35 at once. She is going to cause an accident. I would call in and report it but the number doesn't work

I called ahead of time to make sure if I trapped a feral cat on my property they would come and get it. They said yes. I trapped it, called them and they said ok we'll come get it. 15 minutes later they called and said we don't pick up cats. The people working there (2 of them!) don't know this information???? But I can haul the cat myself to the shelter where they assure me they will take him🤣. Somehow I highly doubt it. And so if you've ever wondered why so many animals get dumped, that's why. If anyone in Williamson county has an unwanted animal on their property, don't expect this tax payer paid for service to help you out. Not gonna happen.

The adoption process at Williamson County Animal Shelter was very smooth, requiring minimal documentation. More specifically, I was not requested to provide ID or proof of residency via utility bill at the time of adoption. However, I was surprised at the strict requirements when I needed to return the kitten due to behavioral issues. I was prompted to provide a recent utility bill, a photo copy of my license, and answer a 8 question questionnaire before even being considered to return the kitten I adopted yesterday. This inconsistency is extremely concerning for upper management, as people are signing legally binding adoption agreements without having to produce identification. Make sure to ask about their return policy before adopting from this shelter. For a smoother experience, I recommend considering places like Cat Purrfecto Cafe in Austin where the customer service is top tier, you can easily interact with many cats and find the perfect fit. I hope someone finds this review insightful.

Had to call several phone numbers to someone to take away an unhealthy looking ring tail on my house. After waiting 40 minutes the best they could do was scare it into a tree. I think it should have been trapped and killed. Years ago I called them for a huge rat snake problem, same thing. If you need them to haul away a pest animal, you will have to do it yourself. More tax $ wasted

Dogs terrorizing our neighborhood for 2 years. Over 30 calls made to Wilco Animal Control. They say they were coming out to give citations and never did. They absolutely don’t care. When those dogs kill a kid will they care then.

It took calling several numbers to reach someone about snakes in my yard and my garage. I was told to call back the next day and they would send someone out if the snakes were still there. Wow, great solution to the problem. In another interaction with this organization's personnel, I had a dog who got out of the backyard this particular day. Some woman showed up asking me if I was looking for something and why wasn't I answering her phone calls as if I was obligated to drop everything and answer the phone because she called. She didn't introduce herself so I looked her up and down (since she was wearing a uniform) and also noted the vehicle she was driving to deduce that she was from Animal Control. These folks need to work on some serious customer service skills. Leave a message and callback number when you call someone if it's that important and introduce yourself and state why you are at someone's home as opposed to showing up with an attitude.
