Awesome staff!!! Adopted three kittens on 10/29/24. Very clean facility and very easy adoption process. Wish i could leave a 10 star review. These guys are the best!

DO NOT TAKE ANY ANIMALS HERE!!!! I know that their facebook page looks all pretty and everything but the people that work here DO NOT care about these animals at all! They also do not care about you or whatever reasoning you may have to be needing to surrender an animal to them and will find ANY REASON not to help you or give you addtional resources! They also secretly EUTHANIZE the poor animals that THEY don't deem deserving of a second chance. They find any reason and/or excuse to euthanize animals and this should be investigated. I know from personal stories I have been told and seriously people do your selves the favor to try finding a new home for your pets elsewhere. Let this place be shut down or bring in new management that actually care about the well being of the animals they are overlooking.

If I could give zero stars, I would! These people that work here do not care for these animals. I will never understand why people put themselves in the position to euthanize poor animals. I don’t understand how they sleep at night with that on their conscientious! If I were you I would demand a free adoption! Don’t give them money! They euthanize these animals and don’t keep the community in the loop.

I had a wonderful experience adopting one of their cats. I would 100% recommend adopting from them everyone that I spoke to was very nice and polite.

Considering the obvious lack of resource/funding, it is very clear that the personnel try to do everything they can to have these animals in a healthy environment and help them find a "fur-ever" home. However, it isn't without its issues. First and foremost, the most jarring issue I have with this shelter is the fact any animal, once ready for adoption, can be adopted by the first person to show up. That's right-- first come, first served. This is a problem in my experience because this is not the best way to ensure an animal goes to the correct home. While it is true that animals undergo all of the basic procedures required for adoption, not just ANY person can own any particular kind of breed of animal. Every single animal has a unique situation to them and while the prospect owner may be happy they get to walk away with the animal they wanted, the animal may end up stuck with someone who isn't fit for taking care of said animal. Ignorance is the number one problem when it comes to ownership of a pet. A first come, first serve system is counter-intuitive to everything an animal shelter is supposed to represent. All of that aside, you can make a difference by adopting animals from here. Or working as a volunteer or with one of the many volunteer groups. More importantly, you can object the notion of a first come, first served system and help ensure animals find the correct homes for them. After all, a person being first and with 50$ at hand should not be all that is expected to properly care for any animal.

Hey don't care about animals. If you did you would not kill them . Why can't you let people adopted without charging 125.00 to 175.00 if the dog or cat is on death roll let someone adopted for 20.00 price of shots . We need better for our animals. .
