Description My Pet’s Veterinary Urgent Care and Wellness is a private locally owned Veterinary hospital now serving the Kirkland Community. Our team is ER and Surgical trained, efficient, and able to handle anything your loved ones may need. While our focus is Urgent Care, Emergency Care, and Surgery we understand how difficult it is to get Primary Care during these times and offer a broad range of services for all our patients. We are also happy to treat adjunct to your primary care veterinarian when they are unavailable and can easily share all our electronic records.

The staff over all is amazing! Very informative with causes and treatments. Answers any and all questions. Willing to help make sure future and current issues with your fur baby are addressed & solved. Price is fair and affordable! Will not be going any where else. Couldn’t ask for a better place to have my dog seen ! Keep it up guys!!

Dr. Abolnik and his staff are incredible. My girlfriend and I brought our 8 month old Maui into My Pet’s Veterinary Urgent Care and Wellness because he had been throwing up, was lethargic, and didn’t want to eat or drink anything. We explained to the staff our current economic situation and they worked with us, without hesitation. We then found out that Maui had an obstruction in his stomach from a hair tie that he had swallowed. Dr. Abolnik explained to us what this could mean for Maui since he was able to verify that there was a rupture. He told us that surgery could save Maui but let us know that probability of survival up front. My girlfriend and I ultimately decided that we would find a way to get the surgery done. Dr. Abolnik got us in contact with South Seattle Veterinary Hospital and set up for us to take Maui over there for surgery. Where we can happily say, the surgery was a success and our little Maui is on the mend. I don’t know if we will ever be able to repay you guys for the kindness that you have shown our little family but we will always be grateful for all of you.

Dr. Abolnik And his staff are just amazing. I had an issue with my dog and he was very caring and attentive and would follow up to make sure everything was going well. Team is very responsive and easy to work with and I would recommend this Vet clinic to everyone. The staff here is the most caring and thoughtful vet clinic I have ever worked with. I came here after my Cavalier King Charles wouldn't open one of her eyes. Anyone with a Cavalier knows how sensitive their eyes can be and how its emergent for their health. Dr. Abolnik was the one to see us. I was very worried and nervous about my pup since we were to be flying to a different state in a few weeks. He was so kind and gentle with her and took the time to educate me on what was happening and why. He went the extra mile and checked out her overall health, addressing an issue with her ear as well that he noticed. I was told to come back in two weeks to see if her eye had healed. During that time I received multiple emails from their office checking in on my dog and asking if I needed anything. When I did go back for follow up, they were so wonderful, even remembering her from the last visit. Not only did Dr. Abolnik heal her eye, he was also very informative and fun to talk with. I would recommend their services to anyone, the experience was great. *Edit to add additional information: The upfront charge is $100 to see your pet. I found this to be reasonable as it is an urgent care. We did not wait very long, the first visit, maybe 25 minutes, the second visit 5 minutes. The pricing for our visit was reasonable considering the medication and other needs such as a cone and ear cleaning. I believe in total of two visits, I spent ~$300.

Entire staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Prices were very reasonable for a traditional vet clinic, let alone when you consider the hour's available and the fact this clinic is marketed as an urgent care. I called around 6:50pm and was able to get seen before closing at 9pm. Dr. Abolnik seem genuinely interested in making sure my cat's needs were being taken care of. He gave me recommendations on pharmacies to have my cat's medication sent to, and even called to give the pharmacy a heads up, and minimize the chance of them trying to call the clinic for verification tomorrow (Wednesday, a day the clinic is closed). Will definitely be coming back in the future for a check up next year, or if there are any needs sooner (hopefully not).

Doctor Abolnik and the staff are so professional. They were the most compassionate people, they helped us a lot with our cat Maui. He was in a critical situation and after a couple exams. They found a hair tie in his intestines. They referred us to South Seattle Veterinary hospital for an emergency surgery where they were able to save his life🙏🏽.
