Supper unprofessional! I told the lady from the very beginning that I was inexperienced with cats as a momma cat had left her 4 babies at my home outside. A momma cat left them in my home didn't come back called local animal shelters did as I was told after not receiving help I reached out to cat cradle rescue. I noticed a slight tone the first time we talked but didn't pay much attention to it. She wanted tons of information and I understand that since they will be caring for the cats and for someone who had no knowledge of cats it was a bit hard but I sent in the information she requested. She called while I was driving. I answered with my kids in the car as I was telling her I needed help because I am currently pregnant and I had no idea how to care for the cats. She then said that my information I had sent in was incorrect and I should know more about "my cats" (not mine they were left). I did then procede to ask if the best option was to go out and put a free sign and see if anyone would like a cat. Not thinking much of it since I had seen people do that before where I live she said no, she just needed the correct information before she could see if they could take the kittens in . As I mentioned I have no idea or Knowledge about cats but I would never hurt them either. I did the best I could I proceeded to tell her I can not be around cat poop and thats when she yelled at me saying shut up! Shut up! Be quiet at the top of her lungs!! My kids were in complete shock. She then proceeded to tell me that she had multiple pregnancies with no complications to cat poop. As I continued to explain what my doctor had told me that's when she screamed. I felt complete shock I was in disbelief at what had just happened I told her I no longer wanted her help and hung up. To me it was very unprofessional for her to yell at me as I was just expressing my concerns due to the poop.
We found a lost kitty and were able to get advice from the kind people at Cat's Cradle. They really care. They have a network of foster volunteers and do their best to educate and help place cats and kittens. A couple of our staff also adopted through them and have been thrilled.
Daughter went thru their process this past week, very professional. Asked the right questions, made sure we had a good match, always communicated. We now have a new member in the family, fitting right in!
Great experience with the caring people at Cat's Cradle. They truly care for the cats and the people. They help you find the right cat, help you understand how to integrate the kitty into your home, answer questions and help you solve any concerns. Their volunteers are great too. Thank you Marilyn and Steve!
Absolutely fantastic organization and community! I was in the process of rehoming my cat as I won't have a home for her and will be traveling a lot. I went through a private connection and the transition was rough! I didn't know what to do so I called Cat's Cradle and Marilyn absolutely saved my cat! She helped me communicate with the new family to smooth out the stress of transition and coordinated medical information sharing. She then talked through the process with the new family to assist them in helping the fluffy princess adjust peacefully. I was in a very difficult position and Cat's Cradle not only helped, but made it a success!
They're called Cat's Cradle Rescue but they won't give you any resources to help rescue a stray cat in the neighborhood that's always crying because it's probably hurt and hungry They literally wouldn't even give me the number of the person they just said they were going to give me the number for to take rhem to a shelter. And then said because I've shown the cat some food and try to make it feel safe so they could come get it or provide a resource, It Would be My Responsibility to take the baby to the Vet which I cannot afford. They're not doing anything to help. I'm not sure what they do, they're literally Make me feel worse for this cat. Then sent me Smart-a** text messages about how they're sure that I Am Fully Capable of essentially cat rescuing.
