Description BluePearl Pet Hospital is an after-hours emergency vet. We are located off Highway 65 and Cloud Drive and serves the northern Minneapolis suburbs, which includes Andover, Anoka, Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Circle Pines, Coon Rapids, Ham Lake, Lino Lakes, Osseo, Maple Grove, and surrounding areas. At more than 8,000 square feet, BluePearl Pet Hospital in Blaine is fully equipped with two surgical suites, ultrasound, endoscopy, and an in-house laboratory. We recently had to put our 14 year old dog Penny down. The staff and doctors at Blue Pearl we so compassionate and cared for us and our dog through this really emotional time. They gave us all the time we needed with her and even gave us ice cream cones as a special treat for her before she crossed the rainbow bridge. About a week and a half later, we received a beautiful wooden box with her remains and her paw print. Thank you so much for treating her with love and respect.

Our 11month old puppy started acting lethargic late in the evening. Our vet was closed so we called up Blue Pearl and told them our concerns. They listened and advised us that she should be seen. When we arrived there was no wait and they took her back right away. They were very up front about the cost before they took her back. The cost is not ideal, but they are also providing after hours emergency care, so it is to be expected. After her exam the Vet came and spoke with us and gave us some treatment options, again very up front about cost. Everyone there was so friendly and kind. You can tell they are trying to provide the best care possible to your pet. They were able to send us home with some medication and we were able to follow up with our normal Vet the following day. They confirmed our girl was on the right treatment plan. She’s now back to her puppy self and I’m so thankful they were able to provide us the care that started her back on that right path.

I would post 0 if possible. We drove an hour to get relief for our 10 year old dog actively dying and with a one year history of heart disease. Instead our dog was removed from us for an hour an a half during his last moments for the clinic to complete unnecessary tests in a money making scheme. We kept asking to have our dog brought back to the room. I guess the staff kept forgetting. We left the room, stood at the desk demanding to pay and leave stating that he would do better at home with family than alone in some back room-now away from us 1 1/2 hours. The vet finally came out and said there was not another option. Really? As a RN I don't understand how you couldn't have came to this conclusion with listening to his heart and lungs with a stethoscope in the exam room. This hospital is 100 % about profits and showed our family 0% compassion. Shame on you!!

The staff are very compassionate and humane. They got us in right away and took very good care of my kitty, Cleo. I had to let her go due to ongoing health issues she suffered. They gave me my privacy to grieve and as much time with her as we needed, and they let me hold her while she crossed the bridge. The vet gave me all the options and let me know there was no wrong decision. I am very grateful they were with me during this sorrowful time.

The staff here are nothing short of incredible. They are insightful, caring, and knowledgeable in the most crucial moments. When my family had to make the decision to put our dog down the staff was so compassionate in guiding us to make the right choice. It truly felt like our emotions mattered and our dogs life was important and that meant a great amount in such a tender moment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the emergency/urgent care unit of this animal hospital. I couldn't imagine a more heartfelt, honest experience in such a difficult time.

The Veterinarian was awesome! I'm so happy we could get down there with our very sick cat. I was pleased that she listened to me about his pain in the right back side. They found the wound causing the sickness my cat was in. Fixed him up and today he's made a huge improvement from Monday night.
