We had a wonderful experience for our first visit. My 7 month lab is very nervous going to the vet and will not let anyone touch him. The environment and staff here are amazing! They took such time and care to make it as stress free as possible for him and he did great. The entire team and Dr. Noel was amazing with him addressed all my concerns and needs. So happy we found Blue Oasis, highly recommend it to anyone!
Dr. Atkins has been seeing my Alton Brown for several years now. She's compassionate, caring, patient. Helping me manage Alton's IBD with bloodwork and medications, along with educating me on his over all health. Blue Oasis Pet Hospital has made an environment that cultivates a partnership between the staff, doctors and you for your animals health. They are leading the way in progressive veterinary care and I wouldn't take my Alton Brown and Beasley anywhere else.
I drove over an hour to get a second opinion on my senior rescue pup's anxiety and I'm so glad I did! The GP care he was getting at our local vet was not cutting it and I was loosing my mind trying to find the best solutions for Brantley. The doctor and her entire team put both me and my Brantley at ease. She really listened and assured me the entire visit that together we would find the best solution for Brantley to live out his golden years as calm and enjoyable as possible. So glad I made the drive to Blue Oasis Pet Hospital 🥰
I'm delighted to have found your clinic and Dr. Lucas! I really appreciate the fact that there is no "in the back," so that procedures are done in front of the client. Attention to detail is also second to none. Jonah is very nervous at the vet and every attempt was made to help him relax.
Edit to reply to their reply- I have seen this dog in person. This dog did not have behavioral issues. This dog only had "behavioral" issues around the owner because he was scared of her. I didn't know separation anxiety was a reason to put down a dog. This vet also didn't know the actual details besides what the owner claimed. This dog did perfect in any environment not around this woman. 3 months is not enough time for a dog to settle in a house after being "rescued". This dog never had biting issues when I saw him. I'm sure he may have bit his owner because of how she would treat him. The team 100% only listened to her one sided story. The dog was in an environment he couldn't thrive in. He was definitely adoptable and people even offered to take him from her because the dog did so well when he wasn't around her. This dog did not have behavioral intervention. She can make it seem like a sob story all day but she robbed this dog of a beautiful life for her own selfish reasons. Don't get a rescue dog if you can't handle them chewing things up in your house. The situation was no where near as bad as she is projecting it. This place put down a 1.5 year old rescue puppy because the owner didn't think she was a good fit. This poor excuse of a person gets a rescue dog and treats them poorly. They said the dog had anxiety, although when my friends and I would watch the dog, the dog was just fine. This dog was just scared of the owner. They would punish the dog by throwing them in a crate and leaving them outside. So this person comes and takes them to Blue Oasis and says they want to put down their dog because they're not a good fit for each other. They refused to take them back to the rescue. Like "if I can't have them no one can" BLUE OASIS PUT THIS DOG DOWN. I've never heard of a vet that puts down a perfectly healthy dog because they're "not a good match" with the owner. This is sickening and everyone should be warned about this. Myself and my friends/family will NEVER bring our animals to someone that does this. I will continue to tell everyone I know about this and make sure no one I know goes there. The vet should not be putting down perfectly fine dogs. They also told them that since the dog is 1.5 years old they're "likely never going to be potty trained" ?? As if they were encouraging this persons decision into putting down their dog. I would never trust a human that does that with a rock, much less my dogs.
Our own Mt. Juliet The Incredible Dr. Pol!! The vets are so professional and kind, treating Rusty like he was my son, which he is. Thank you, Dr. Haines!
