Dr. Hernandez and his staff are excellent! We took our dog Rocko in for what looked like a muscle sprain in his front paw and he assessed and treated him with the utmost professionalism and kindness. Our little guy has some sensitive spots on his body but was completely relaxed when the nurse was holding him for his exam. We were given an at-home treatment plan and the prices for his x-rays and medication were very reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Hernandez in West Loop!

Dr. Hernandez is phenomenal! He is the BEST VET and my chronically ill kitten is finally feeling better thanks to him! I cannot recommend this practice enough. My kitten had been sick for four months. I brought her to my “regular” (high end, expensive) West Loop vet multiple times, spent over a thousand dollars, and nothing they did helped. One vet there told me that she could be sick for OVER A YEAR and “that’s just what kittens do…” I’m sorry, what?!? I felt like I was just lighting my money on fire every time I visited my old West Loop vet. When my poor kitten got sick yet again, I took her to Dr. Hernandez to get a second opinion. Dr. Hernandez was phenomenal!!! The facilities are brand new and state of the art. There’s free parking!!!! Most importantly, he took the time to thoughtfully examine my little dumpster kitten, give me some possible explanations as to what was going on, and provide me with a clear, tiered treatment plan to tackle each aspect of her illness. I’m happy to report that she is FINALLY getting better thanks to Dr. Hernandez and the team! I’m bringing all my animal 😺 business to Dr. Hernandez moving forward and you should too!!!

Just moved to West Town and discovered Partners Animal Hospital had opened nearby. My dog Obie started having stomach issues, so i was able to schedule an appointment online. (Which was much easier than trying to schedule over the phone at my last vet office.) Dr. Hernandez was super great and friendly and took great care of Obie. Same with the vet techs and front desk staff. The facility was new and super clean. The hallway felt open which makes it feel a little easier to navigate around other pets if your dog is not super sociable with other doggos. The follow up was great. They use an app PetDesk and also print and email the care information if you’re forgetful about what to do next. Very happy to have this vet in walking distance from me, and Obie appreciates all the TLC she’s gotten here!

I’m a first time pet mom after rescuing my kitten Biscuits. I found Partners close by at their new location here in the west loop and I’m so happy I reached out to them. Everyone was so helpful to me and to Biscuits making sure she was healthy and answering all my questions. Biscuits is now spayed and thriving thanks to Dr. Hernandez and Nurse Irene! The team there is so warm and compassionate and makes a point to keep a safe, friendly environment for pets and pet owners. Dr. Gerardo Fernandez and the team at Partners in West Loop were so kind and great with my new puppy! The visit was very informative and the way the handled her for the entirety of the exam made her appear very comfortable and relaxed. The clinic was also super clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I’m certain that Dr Hernandez saved my cat’s life. My 2-year-old cat developed a lesion that ended up being malignant sarcoma. Even with a specialists’ urgent recommendations, my prior vet said they couldn’t get him in for several months. Thank god I came to Partners— they got me in that day, scheduled him for a biopsy the next morning, then scheduled him with a surgeon for removal right when he got the lab results. It was remarkable. Kyle is deeply bonded with his sister, and I can’t imagine what would’ve been if we didn’t come to Partners. So grateful!
