Best dog groomer in Myrtle Beach!! We moved down here from Michigan and before we moved my mom’s friend would do my dog Athena’s nails. Well, moving down here we didn’t have anyone we knew to do them and we couldn’t find a good groomer for us. At this point her nails were so long that she cut her ear when she scratched. I reached out to one of the numbers listed on Bark in Style’s website and inquired about the price of a nail trimming and they messaged me back very quickly and told me the estimate was about 20 dollars, so I messaged again and asked about the appointment process and I got in the next morning (6/25/24). My dog is not a people dog and she is very anxious without me. I was expecting her to be a little bit bitey since she was in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people. I left her at the groomers and I kid you not it took less than 10 minutes for them to do her nails PERFECTLY, and she did so well for them!! She didn’t whine or bite she just let them do their work! her nails were so much shorter and buffed and I’m so thrilled that my dog will finally be comfortable again. And lastly, it only costed 15 dollars!! She was so so excited when we got outside and in the car! I will definitely be bringing Athena back for all our grooming needs! EDIT: I forgot to mention my dog is not small but she is not big either, she’s a black lab/blue heeler mix

Newer to the area and hadn't found a groomer yet. We got ahold of Bark in Style and she was very accommadating with a quick appt. Our dog was very anxious when she used to have her nails done. That was not the case here, they did amazing with our dog. Quick getting in, the appt itself went quickly (1) our dog was very calm (2) they knew what they were doing and treated her well! And very satisified with the resluts! We absolutely found our groomer! And will recommend to anyone! Thank you!

If you have a larger dog do NOT bring them here. I was using this place for a while…when I dropped off my shepherd she was extremely anxious wanting to leave, which I thought was weird but figured it was just maybe anxiety. When I picked her up, I was told she was banned and no longer welcome there. The owner told me “Thank goodness the groomer was paying attention and remembered she needed a muzzle because she ended up getting a hold of her arm through the muzzle and broke an expensive piece of equipment by bending what was supposed to be unbendable” 1. You don’t get a high five for remembering to muzzle a dog, it called doing your job 2. How is it that she was able to bite through a muzzle …. the entire reason for using a muzzle it to avoid the ability to do so. 3. Why are you telling me about your equipment being damaged…that’s your own fault. Purchase better equipment. She also mentioned that we had a conversation about her needing to be muzzled which NEVER happened or else I would have NEVER brought her back. I’ve been getting her groomed for 8 years and never had an issue in the past with any other place and my dog was NEVER fearful to go. I just had to switch to this location because I moved. I then asked about my Golden retriever and she had said “well I’d guess he wasn’t as bad” …. And this is your typical happy go lucky golden retriever who is specially trained and the happiest sweetest boy. So she was clearly exaggerating. Long story short if you have a large breed DO NOT trust this place. The owner was also EXTREMELY Rude like I was bothering her for even being there. She has a huge entitled/attitude problem. This was a few months ago and it has been on my mind to write this review. I’d say go here if you have small dogs that they can manage but LARGE BREED OWNERS BEWARE!!!!!!

Took our pups there a couple times now and this is the best clip they've received. We will be taking them again for grooming and nail clips. They enjoy their spa days.

They’ve helped me with Isabellas long winter hair and to shave her for the summer months. Great job. She gets the nails painted and the whole spa treatment. She comes out so happy. So I’m happy too
