We started bringing our nervous/reactive rescue dog here about 6 months ago after a negative experience elsewhere. I routinely bring him for “happy visits,” suggested by the staff here at our initial consultation. Each visit, the whole staff and Dr. Black and Dr. Finan are so pleasant and excited to see our dog and I’ve noticed such a difference in his demeanor while we’re there. They have always been transparent and up front with their expectations of him and their services and how they will be able to provide care. I’m so happy to have found them!

We were referred here when my regular vet was out of the office the morning we picked up my dog from the emergency vet. Not only did they see us, when we were not an established patient, they took the time to examine him, and the doctor personally called the specialty practice in Charleston to give them the relevant information before we arrived there with our dog. She was incredibly kind, professional, and direct about his medical condition and needs. I highly recommend this vet practice.

My daughter took our dog to Coastal, we didn’t receive the best news but they included me on the conversation from my work. Understanding and supportive through it all. Understood that I prefer conservative treatment for our older dog. So happy we decided to give them a chance.

We are from Virginia and our dog was having a severe allergy problem that we have been fighting for 3 Years. Our current vet could not get him under control. When we came to Myrtle Beach we made an appointment with Dr Black and she started him on a new treatment and changed his food and within 2 weeks he was clear. It changed his way of life and we could not be happier with the service. Everyone at the office are extremely caring, makes you feel welcome and will make sure you understand the treatment for your pet. We now have made her our primary vet, every time we come down she works him in for a visit. Highly Recommend Dr Black and her staff. We absolutely love them, only veterinary who could solve my baby’s problem. ❤️
