Sunday was a very busy day, we were triaged and waited to be seen. All of the staff was amazing, they do take emergency cases first which is why there was such a Long wait to actually be seen. Blankets were given out to make pets more comfortable while waiting. Free coffee and water while waiting. It was worth the wait, I was not over charged. Definitely will be going back for any and all emergent situations for my fur babies. If you end up having to go and waiting..... remember your waiting because your pet is not in dire need. Thank you for what you do and being open and able to offer all of your services!!

I’ll explain why I’m giving them a one star rating. My boy Roman went there to see the oncologist for cancer. He was a patient there for 6-8 months. His last visit the vet told us that she did not believe the cancer medication was working anymore and to take Roman home and give him lots of love. She took him off his cancer medication. I respected her and her recommendation for Roman. And still respect her decision. What I do not care for is since he left, I never ONCE got a call checking in on him. Even a quick call to ask how he was doing. Nothing, not a call, not a quick letter, nothing!! I spent thousands there and would do it again. I would just recommend keeping track of your patients and making a quick call to check in on them. It doesn’t cost you anything to make a call. Now Roman beat allot of odds lasting longer than expected. I had to put him down, he is now running free! I would like to add that I did hear from MedVet and they did apologize for any miscommunication on their part. That is what these comments are all about, not to put down a company but to bring notice to an issue and hope that they respond in a positive way. So thank you for reaching out to me.

When faced with a challenge that you are unsure of as an owner MedVet is available to assist you with your concerns no matter minor or severe. The staff is compassionate and supportive. I also felt comfortable leaving our pet in there care .

My dad brought my dog for an emergency. We were told "there are more critical." My dog had a blockage. When asked when we could get him in after 4 hours, they still said well there is a wait. Being told our dog wasn't critical. Then finally getting seen. Being told by a staff member he should have been seen a lot sooner, than my dog passes away hours later. The triage skills are poor and frankly unacceptable. Do better. I understand the abc's of triage, I really do but when we are being told our dog isn't critical and dies hours later. That is not acceptable. Later my dad talked to a staff member about the situation and instead of offering to do better or condolences they tried to just cover themselves. Being personable and simply listening to concerns goes a long way. I hope they learn from this experience and no one else has to endure this.

We brought our 13 yr old 'baby' boy Cooper in to be seen at the ER for heart disease related issues. They noticed his labored breathing and immediately took him back for breathing treatments. We had been managing his heart for a few years now, but unfortunately today was the day our baby crossed the rainbow bridge because management was no longer working well enough for his little body. The team was wonderful and so compassionate the whole way through; answering all questions and offering options we didn't think of, giving us full room to decide what was best in all stages and aspects. They are so strong for being able to assist families through these hard moments each day. We are forever thankful for your team and for how peacefully Cooper passed with us.

I've had to use the services of MedVet 3 times since December and each time was amazing, even if my reason for being there was less than stellar. The staff are kind and compassionate, and treat your pet like their own. Their love for animals is evident. Two of these three visits were for euthanasia and they take the worst days of your life and make them as soft as possible. For every step required for treatment, they explain, then ask permission to proceed. They don't judge you or your decisions. I can't recommend them highly enough. My only complaint is that sometimes it takes a while to be seen. That being said, they ARE an EMERGENCY clinic, so they will treat true emergencies first. My 5 star rating is because I understand this. The first time I was there, I waited for probably two hours to be seen, but my visit wasn't high up on the emergency scale, and I also watched folks with true life or death animals come in and be treated first. I would want that same treatment had I had an emergency. The entire euthanasia team is amazing. Every staff member and personnel I've ever had to talk to are amazing. They are patient when you burst into tears and can't talk for 3 minutes, and they don't ever make you feel like you're wasting their time. I love and highly recommend MedVet.
