I found a young dove that appeared to have issues walking and flying. I thought his leg was broken but Fran, that runs the place, said it’s probably a birth defect on his wing but she will care for the little bird. Please support her passion to help orphan and hurt wild animals! She’s such an angel! I was unsure about the location because it looks like a home but she is operating there. Call them before you go and make sure they have room.
First they don't answer the phone. No voicemail. Then when you finally reach them the next day, they tell you to call someone to shoot it. Seriously? This cutie is still eating and drinking. This place needs to stop pretending being a rehab. I was going to donate to them as I was so happy to find them but I am disgusted over the response.
What a great service Fran performs in helping wildlife. She is so kind and caring. Please support her organization.
This woman was absolutely amazing my sister caught what she thought was a flying squirrel we took it down there and she is going to take care of it until she can release it in the spring I suggest anyone who catches a critter around their home to take it to her instead of killing it
I'm terrible with names, but the lady who runs this operation is one of the kindest people I've ever met. I was able to drop off two orphaned baby opossums to her right away and she just asked me a few general questions about the critters (how long I've had them, if they'd eaten anything) and sent me on my way. Highly recommend, and if you're considering donating to a wildlife rehab, this woman truly deserves it.
After seeing a possum hit by a car in front of me, I circled around to see if it was ok. To my surprise babies where coming out of her. I grabbed a box and blanket and called this location to see if they can come there as mom was now dead. This sweet little lady just took these baby possums in and was ready to start helping them. I was caught off by the location being a home and not a clinic, but she was already to go with her knowledge and experience with animals. Highly recommend!
