Fido is a great place to go for your pet food if you can not afford much. My only issue is with one employee. Her name is Jan. She is excessively disrespectful. Unfortunately, she is a money handler. And she's excessively rude. And when she gets mad at you for no reason, it is usually something stupid. She will throw her hands up and grimace. In turn her back on you Refusing to listen to your input. Other than that, the place is great, so do not let jan push you away. Just don't talk to her or interact Unless necessary. And you should be fine.

Their mission does not match their actions. They banned me when I had to file a complaint against a veterinarian who is on their board. I am a disabled senior who is eligible for this program. I would hope that their donors look into their actions and behavior towards the vulnerable. They even refused a mediation with the county.

Had a very bad experience today on the phone with fido, I have covid and wanted to cancel my appointment for tomorrow and call back later to reschedule an appointment when I needed food again. They demanded I rescheduled now or be cut from the program because a friend bought me some food for my animals since I could not go out. They told me I am not allowed to receive food from any other. Wow!!

Poorly assistance with helping feed my 7 week old kitten all because my kitten wasn't spayed... I mean it's B.S who in their right mind drills a new customer about not willing to help all because a 7week old kitten isn't spayed 1 star and I stand by my decision and rating I may not ever come back because of that lady....

Not impressed. Completely ignored my request for special food due to my dogs pancreatitis. I was given a ziploc bag of kibble that just said small bite. I have no idea what food it is or the fat content. Then I was given two cans of wet pedigree dog food….the worst. I called earlier in the week to see if the could help me based on my dogs medical condition and was told they had the Wellness dog food for him that he is on. I just had to fill out a special request form indicating what he needed specifically. I did and it wasn’t even considered. This is probably a great place for help for most, but not for those with specific dietary needs. Staff seemed friendly, but didn’t listen to specific requests which is why I gave it one star. Pancreatitis is serious. Almost lost my dog, so I can’t take a chance feeding him something I have no idea the fat content. I wouldn’t have bothered using their facilities, but I was told they could fulfill my special request for Wellness.
