Even though we are heartbroken after losing our best friend, it's impossible for me to sing the praises of this organization loudly enough. Just knowing that we could count on Compassionate Care at any time gave us confidence that we could do right by our beloved Manny in his final weeks. Yesterday was exceptionally hard on all of us; we lost a cherished member of our family. But Dr. Casey Choat was a paragon of an empathetic professional. We will be eternally grateful for her support in Manny's last moments. This was never going to be easy, but we feel so lucky that this was the way Manny was able to go: in our lap, at home, with love pouring out from everyone including Casey. Thank you all for doing this most difficult work. It makes a tremendous difference.

I highly recommend them to everyone in my life that has a pet. Amazing, kind, empathetic humans to help guide you through the most heartbreaking choice of my life. I have so much respect and admiration for the special calling they have.

Today marks the one year anniversary of having to say good-bye to my sweet fur son, Twain. I adopted him when he was 1.5, and we had a beautiful 10 year journey together. As our pack was just the 2 of us, I still feel his absence deeply. He definitely was my better half, and I know I will miss him to my last breath. When I think back to that difficult day, I will always feel grateful that I chose Compassionate Care and that they sent Dr. Josie Gold to help my boy finally know release from his pain. From the moment she arrived, Josie treated both Twain and me with such tenderness and humanity. I will never forget the compassion and care she showed on that hardest of days. Thank you always, Compassionate Care, for sending us Josie and for letting my boy know a peaceful passing at home.

Thank you so much for helping us at this difficult time. My cat Callie's condition got worse very quickly while the rest of our family was out of town, and Compassionate Care was very helpful and supportive. They were able to send a vet to our home the next day, and to adjust the appointment time as needed. Dr. Kali Wilson was very kind and professional, and very gentle with Callie. They handled the paperwork / cost aspect very kindly as well. Would definitely recommend them to anyone else facing a similar situation.

We struggled to make the decision to put down our sweet boy, Ace. We celebrated his 16th Birthday and the next day we knew it was time. He had metastatic cancer. Dr. Jennifer arrived just on time and allowed us one more walk. We were able to do it outside in our yard where he loved to be. She was so kind and caring and understanding. We never felt rushed, we got to spend the time we needed with our baby, before, during and after. He was given a sedative first so he could fall asleep before hand and when we were ready he went so easily. It was literally like falling asleep. I got to hear his snore and felt his last gentle breath leave his body. Thank you for making one of the worst experiences we ever had to go through so peaceful. It truly helped us in so many ways, thank you.
