Earlier this year I had no money in my checking account, barely any gas in my car, no food in my fridge and no food for my dog. I couldn’t afford nothing. I called them with tears in my eyes feeling so ashamed of my situation and explained to them my situation. The ladies there were so very nice and helped me out so much with food and treats and toys for my little girl. I felt so much guilt and shame for not being able to feed her, and these angels that volunteer their time and help out us people that are struggling for a short time, or a long time make sure your little ones are fed and happy. I couldn’t be more grateful for these people. So thank you very much.

I went in today in a pinch for dog food for my puppy. And I was denied because she isn’t spayed. If I wanted dog food from there I was to sign a contract stating I WILL get my puppy spayed in the next 6 months. After I got lectured for 5 minutes on why I should my puppy spayed, I left feeling like a bad dog mom almost in tears with no food for my pup.
