Description Oregon Donkey Sanctuary NW is a registered 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to educating people about these often neglected and "invisible" equines. We offer assistance in rehoming donkeys, network with other like rescues, and offer occasional visitation days here at the sanctuary to allow visitors to learn and spend time with these wonderful creatures. We also offer help to current donkey owners on proper care for their donkeys. We are supported only by donations and 100% of donations go for the care and feeding of the 20 donkeys here on sanctuary.

This place is wonderful and magical and beautiful. The volunteers are angels and the Donkeys are so sweet.

We had our first ever staff retreat here. It was such a zen and calm place to be. Jim is amazing in his knowledge and love of these animals. I had no idea what fantastic and loving animals donkeys are. Each one of us walked away feeling amazing from this experience.

These cuties are so well cared for and watched over..... their comfort was the main concern during an event that brought thousands of visitors last weekend. It was so wonderful to be allowed to interact with them.

This place is such a treasure. They lovingly care for these wonderfully sweet donkeys. When you visit they will explain all about how they care for the donkeys and the history of the animals. You get to pet the donkeys and interact with them. The donkeys themselves are extremely sweet and most love to be brushed and petted. I highly recommend coming here to support this charity and to visit with the donkeys.

Had the best day at the Oregon Donkey Sanctuary. The staff and volunteers were so nice and knowledgeable about their donkeys. The donkeys were so sweet and I’m happy they are at a nice farm getting the love they deserve. Thank you Oregon Donkey Sanctuary.

Really great place for groups or families. The people who run it and the volunteers are all so friendly and informative. All the donkeys are super well behaved around people and so cute.
