This is a review regarding the spay-neuter clinic offered by the Humane Society of North Central Florida. We brought our 2-year-old tomcat in for sterilization. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had no trouble at all navigating the process. As long as you follow the instructions e-mailed to you upon booking your appointment, you will be fine. Follow the set pick-up and drop-off times. The vet staff were communicative upon pick-up of any complications or issues. Our cat had virtually none apart from nausea, which was medicated. He is recovering at home, now. I highly recommend this clinic for quick and affordable routine veterinary care. It is a high volume clinic, so there will not be any "red carpet treatment" (e.g., pre-op bloodwork or physicals), but generally most young and healthy cats do not require this workup. The vet staff are experienced and efficient. Thank you.

The employees were so kind and compassionate about helping animals and finding them homes. I did not adopt today but if I ever think about adopting or fostering in the future, I will definitely go to them. They care about their animals and will go above and beyond to ensure that animals have what they need and are taken care of.

This organization had amazing staff and volunteers. We have gone to several low-cost clinics and they are always very well organized and affordable. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful organization

Have gotten 3 spays/nueters done here. They have done a great job each time. Thank you staff of the GHS🙏🏻. If you want a pet, please go here or another shelter to adopt animals who deserve love & a good home.

We donated 2 big ikea bags of clothes in good condition and it was incredibly easy to do. You just approach the desks at the end of the facility by the thrift store and there are people who accept the donations. We also donated a big bag of cat food at the front desk and they were excited to accept it. It’s easy to donate and it’s for a good cause.

Make a lot of donations to the thrift store also sponsor cats and dogs for adoption . The only issue I have they refuse to add my business name for the sponsor for the cat and dog adoption. I don’t understand being up there twice about this and was told be the female working the front desk it would be done today with an email. I guess I will just donate elsewhere. Empty promises. Update: Office manager contacted me due to this review and fixed the problem. Now my business is added as sponsoring the dog and cat I picked. Thank you so much for reaching out and correcting this issue!
