We adopted from Riverside Rags about a year ago. Our Luna will be a year old this coming November and she has given our lives lots of fun filled times! She loves to play, can be spunky, snuggly, and loving all at once. She’s a full combination of sweet and sassy and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Melanie was incredibly responsive when we adopted her and provided extra support when we needed it. Thanks again Melanie!

We are first-time cat owners and after a lot of research and initial communication, I knew this was a good choice. We’ve had such an amazing experience! Melanie was very personable and responded very timely to all emails. At the start, she was so patient with my family while we waited for a response from our property managers for permission to have a cat. Fast forward- we received the cutest photos, chose Gloria, and here we are! Riverside Rags was very accommodating when it came to our schedule and adoption day. I’m so thankful for their flexibility and willingness to meet our needs. Gloria is now renamed Mushroom, and she is the sweetest, cutest kitty! The vet called her “perfect” and he noted that’s not often the case with cats from a breeder so it’s evident that Melanie and her family does a wonderful job with the cats. Mushroom loves to climb, play, eat, and sleep. Every day her confidence grows and she’s more and more cuddly. She enjoys following us everywhere we go. We’re so thankful to have grown our family by one ❤️

We adopted a male kitten from Riverside Rags. Melanie was responsive for all my logistical questions and concerns about kitten health (shots, upbringing/ socialization). Great support on giving the best healthy start. We are very happy with our new fur baby!

We adopted Penelope from Riverside Ragdolls last month and we could not be happier! The entire process was smooth and easy and best of all, we now have the sweetest, most gorgeous little kitty who loves to cuddle, play and follow us around the house! Melanie was great with communication and responsive to all my questions. Her website is packed with information, tips and links which were so helpful as a first time cat mom. Pickup was easy and we were gifted with a wonderful basket packed with many kitty goodies. Before we adopted Penelope, I was a dog person but Penelope has converted me! She actually behaves more like a puppy- very social and playful. She wants to be wherever we are and just watching her play brings a smile to our faces. She’s just so joyful and has the best temperament. She came litter box trained and is so smart. She quickly learned her name and now meows when we say her name! She gets along with our dog and tries to play with him but he’s old and cranky ha. We recommend Riverside Ragdolls without reservation and we’re grateful to Melanie for letting us adopt Penelope.

After researching for years about the Ragdoll breed we finally felt ready to add a lovely kitty to our household. In the search I came across Riverside Rags Cattery, not only were their kittens absolutely adorable, they were without a doubt well taken care of and utterly loved. Melanie keeps the kittens with their parents and siblings long enough to quell many of the behavioral issues that younger animals face when placed in new homes to early. In addition to the beautiful photos showing every possible angle of the kitten’s faces, Melanie was responsive to my many questions concerning lineage, temperament, even weight. We had been searching for ragdolls in the AZ area for a long time but with no luck, we decided to expand our search and i’m so glad we did! We brought home Sunchi around 2 weeks ago and he’s been an absolute joy to have around. He was all energy & exploration the first weeks, it was so funny watching him and all his antics 😂 Can’t wait to experience more of his beautiful personality for years to come. Now that he’s become more comfortable, he’s constantly following me around the house, meowing for cuddles, & being the cutest little fluff ball. Thank you so much to Melanie & riverside rags for connecting us with our sweet boy. Melanie was quick to answer all of our questions, no matter the time of day & sent such a sweet goody bag home with Sunchi. We are so grateful to have found riverside rags! UPDATE: 07/21 I wish I had better news but about 1 month & five days from Sunchis arrival, he has tested positive for 3 viral upper respiratory infections all of which our other cat has tested negative for. This unfortunately does lead me to believe he arrived to us sick which has not only caused us unnecessary financial hardships & STRESS but put the wellbeing of our adult cat at risk! We adore Sunchi but this has caused so much stress & worry in our home.
