We checked in at 11:50 today (Sunday) and walked out by 12:48! Talk about in and out! My pup had gotten a dog bite from another pup of mine. I wanted to rule out stitches and get an antibiotic and that’s exactly what this team did! Our tech Kris H was great with our baby! Very welcoming and thorough. It was such a pleasant visit. I witnessed a very professional, clean environment and no wait time at all. Reasonably priced too.
This staff is top notch. From the patient and knowledgeable front desk staff, to the 2 techs that I dealt with Michelle and Rae, all the way to the vet and surgeon Dr. Hudson. I came in with my English Bulldog that went into labor 2 days early. I drove from over an hour away and had never used this clinic. I was very nervous and anxious because if you aren't familiar with the breed you don't know the many complications that can arise from anesthesia or just the overall breed demeanor. They were ready when we pulled up and took her straight back. They were thorough while gathering history and info. about the pregnancy. The vet tech Michelle asked the vet all of my many questions and made sure I felt comfortable and confident in Dr. Hudsons' ability to care for my baby. She assured me Dr. Hudson had been performing surgeries longer than her and I have been alive. She even shared that Dr. Hudson performed surgery on her own dog and she wouldn't trust anyone else. Even though they were extremely busy, I did not feel put to the side. They had back to back animals coming in there. They handled the volume with grace. I didn't catch her name but there was a tall, thin, short curly haired woman working the front desk and she literally was doing everything. She was charting, answering the phone, triaging patients, answering questions, playing messenger between the front and the back and having to clean up large amounts of bloody diarrhea and vomit, all while keeping her composure. This team deserves to hear that they made a difference. My experience was great and I highly recommend this clinic.
Took my new puppy, Micah, to Points East after a night filled with vomiting and diarrhea. They quickly tested him and confirmed he had a case of parvovirus. In less than thirty minutes, he was being given the best care possible. They have advanced treatments (including a new antibody therapy) and caring staff. They restored Micah to good health and sent him home with me about 30 hours later. Not the cheapest, but some of the best care you can get.
This ER took such good care of my dog. It was a long night, we were there for over 4 hours, but that’s to be expected as there are few emergency vets around here. All of the staff members were very kind and happy to answer all of my questions. When I took my dog for her follow up at her regular vet, the vet talked about how great my dog looked- this ER really does great work. Highly recommend!
I brought my Chihuahua Stella in with congested heart failure. She was in the final stages and the doctors and staff at Points East Animal Hospital took great care of her. They helped alleviated her suffering and her final hours were peaceful and I can’t thank them enough. They are a wonderful organization and if you ever need to have your pets needs taken care of, they will give you the best care at Points East, thank you all for your care and understanding.
Initially I had a great experience with this hospital when my cat was sick. I knew she was at the end of her life and the compassion from the staff during the whole process was incredible. With that being said I had her cremated and wanted her ashes returned to me. I hadn't heard anything about her in a month and so I called today. She was given the wrong color tag and was cremated with other animals and spread at the crematorium. I will never have my cat back and no amount of refunds will make this right. I don't like to leave bad reviews for places that I know are there to help people but I want to make other people aware of this mistake.
