Our adoption process is simple and caring, requiring an application, ID, and if renting, landlord information. We value donations but do not require them.Every cat we rescue receives full medical treatment, ensuring they are healthy and ready for a loving home. We sometimes close temporarily due to space limitations but remain available to support the community and offer alternative rehoming solutions.For surrenders, a donation helps us continue our high standard of care. As a small nonprofit, every bit of support counts. We aim to give every cat the chance for a happy life through our adoption efforts and educational outreach.

Shelon is such a generous human being! I can't say enough good things about her and the awesome work she does. She accepted a little stray baby that I found outside and he is now THRIVING under her care. I'm so grateful and so happy little Tuffy has a warm and safe place to stay while Shelon finds him a Forever Home. Cat-Tastrophe is doing amazing things for our little feline friends ❤️

If it wasnt for my dear friend these 3 would not have come into my life l got my luna from shelon just over a year ago begged me to take her in from the cold . little did we know that she was pregnant and 2month later came our twin boys Goose and Ryder. So got 3 for one . I have known Shelon since 6th grade. She has the kindest heart ❤️ wiuld giver life for theses Cats!

This is the kindest person I’ve ever met. Her heart is so big when it comes to the stray cats. She made her tiny apartment a safe haven for these poor little animals. She does what she can and if you adopt a one of her furry babies according to their age they are already vetted. I gave her a donation for all her hard work and dedication to the rescue. We need more people out here like her. This is my boogie Boy. You can tell she loved him❤️❤️❤️

My heart was broken when I had to give up a litter of beautiful kittens. I called a lot of shelters and no one had room. Cat Tastrophe was the only one that answered my call. Shelon came to my house and the first thing she gave me was a big hug. Such a sweet loving person. God Definitely sent Shelon to us. She has our kittens and she knows she will find a loving home for them. I can’t tell you enough what a beautiful caring person Shelon is.
