This place needs to be investigated and closed down.. Rude customer service ghetto people that just clock in and clock out for a check they don't deserve. Poor animals Don't bring your pet here if you love it.i almost went in and harmed one of the workers

I went twice to look for my lost dog and the lady said they don't take animals from Chicago. So what are they doing in Chicago? Let me find out you guys gave my dog up for adoption. I have a recording of the lady clearly stating they don't take animals from Chicago. Even when I told her well she's been missing for two weeks she could have gone to a suburban area. She still would not let me it. This place needs a clean up of customer service.

When we got there someone had made a list of who got there and when, It's only fair. But the lady had a FIT and threw our list away. The entire place smells like urine. I had to wait outside because my asthma was triggered. It's a good thing I had someone with me. They do let you inside now but, you never get to see the doctor or even be in the exam room. I don't like that

Went Saturday to try and adopt a dog, the person at the front was very rude. Told us to fill out application and to drop in a box. Today I called to ask about the process and the lady that answered was super rude and laughed when I asked why couldn’t we look at the dog we wanted to adopt. She laughed and hung up on us. I this this place needs to be reported because they don’t care about the poor animals there.

The clerk at the desk had no compassion for me or my pet. She blurted out " he will be euthanized, no one will take in an old cat. He was 18 years old. He had never been outside more than three times in his lifetime. The person who brought me here didn't care. She doesn't like animals. The handler who received my cat was kind and understanding. She made me feel better about the decision to bring him him here.

The worker and the manager at this location are the RUDEST people I every meet at Animal Welfare League. I walk to this location to find out how to dispose of my dog that past away early Friday morning. The response that I received was uncaring and heartless. To be told that I would cost $25 and that an ID is need to dispose of the dog. I turned around and walk out the door totally upset. So call there other location to see what there procedure is and the person that was much friendlier. She said for me to call there and ask for the manager Diane at location she wil be able to assist me. So when I call Diane told me call 311 that they have a free pick. She act like that she did not wanted me to come there at all. Then proceeded to tell me about the $25 and needed ID. I truly do not understand why you would need an ID at all.
