This place has a lot more options for fish and animals and supplies but in my opinion the prices are outrageous. We did buy my son's hamster here and he is healthy and nice and he only cost us about $25 and I always buy my crickets here for my geckos but the supplies and food and toys are just too expensive for my liking. Clean environment, animals welcome to come in the store, and friendly staff though 😁

I didn’t grab her name because the interaction was all of five minutes, but the purple hair female employee who was clearly strung out, was so quick to rush my 5 year old and I out. We were looking at fish because my daughter has been wanting some for a while. I DID consider getting a beta fish but they all looked so sad and on the verge of death. She asked me how many fish I wanted, I asked how many I can comfortably fit in a 10 gallon tank, we came to the agreement that it’s an inch of fish per gallon. So I said I was thinking about getting five fish. To which she replied, “how about just one?” With the most condescending attitude. I’m sorry, huh? I’m the customer and I’ve been thinking about this for a while and I told her I did consider beta but the selection here was just pitiful and I didn’t want my daughter to watch her new fish die within a week bc of how they looked. She told me to just go get my kid a stuffed animal. I’m sitting here asking questions about something my kid has been asking for years and some purple people eater employee strung out on drugs made the whole experience that was supposed to be exciting, terrible . Do NOT go to pets mart people, I’ve heard the horror stories but I didn’t listen 🤣🙄

Always had what I need for my dogs cats and reptiles! Love their adoption days too. Always so up beat and fun. Saw a boy get to adopt a little black kitten and it was so wholesome from everyone around!

Don’t seem like they want to sell the fish. They have there fish in maybe a 5 gallon tank with multiple fish in 1tank. The lady told me that we can’t get any fish on the wall unless we have a 10 gallon tank. SMH. Do you sell fish or whats up? Seems like the workers are so lazy they don’t want to get the fish out so they make up excuses. Seems like the most they are getting paid for us to sit back and talk and ignore the customers. They’re all rude and useless

If I could put a zero, I would. I went in to buy some fish for my tank and was told they would not sell to me because I would poison the fish with my goldfish. When I went to confirm this with the cashier, she kept trying to explain how well the staff back there treat the fish...which is great, I guess, but they ultimately refused to sell to me because I had a goldfish. The cashier preceeded to tell me that, " life is not fair." Thanks for that sage advice nobody asked for. Will never go back there. It is not worth your time.

Phone call about online p/u order to the glenstone Ave Springfield MO location - just got off the phone with the most exceptional service Ive had by phone in years , and $&#t I didn't get her name 😭 it's been awhile since I've even witnessed "decent service" rather than" blah dont care dont talk to me" service or they have ear buds in 😂 i understand times have changed and we've all just gotten used to $&#tty service to be the new all your getting service ! I just want to shout out today I received outstanding customer service when speaking with an associate over the phone at petsmart , she was knowledgeable, well spoken , polite and helpful she also waited until I hung up the phone rather than proving to me they are too busy for my nonsense and hanging up during mid sentence 😂 Thank you to PetSmart for hiring great skilled employees to take care of your clientele 🐾🐶✌️
