This organization is actively working to better the community. They not only help homeless dogs and cats in the Ozarks but they offer outreach services to pet owners to enhance the lives of owned pets. They are great stewards of resources and have the most compassionate staff and volunteers.

I have adopted from, and been a foster and volunteer for, Rescue One for over 6 years. They rescue animals that no other organization will. They essentially act as animal control for areas that have none, and they provide outreach services for pet owners in need. Their contribution to the community is immeasurable. I was really disappointed with the application process at Rescue One. They ask you to fill out the whole form with all your personal information, only to get disqualified by a single question. It would make so much more sense to ask that question upfront instead of wasting people’s time. I support their mission, but the process definitely needs to be more considerate. Consider another company
