My baby, Coco gone, today I dropped off some things to the shelter...food, some chest style harnesses, and her toys...that way, some other doggies may have some things that make their stay at the shelter a bit better.

Daryl trapped a beautiful grey cat that clearly was a house cat. Rumor is that a neighbor who moved put his five cats on the street and this was one of them. Daryl did great. Glad that neighbor moved!

3 years ago my beloved dog Scarlett was shot by a St Charles city police officer 3 times. She instantly ran off and wasn't found for 3 long days. She was taken to Five Acres which is where animal control is or was. She was in bad shape, but five Acres took such great care of her. She had multiple surgeries and a metal hip put in. She had months of pt. She came back to me à happy healthy dog after 5 months. I owe Five Acres the life of my dearest friend.

Britt goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to help the best she can. It's a beautiful thing when someone loves their job and it shows. I know it's gotta be heart breaking at times but her disposition is always pleasant. Hope your light continues to shine just as bright you sweet soul!
