Diana is extremely rude! Said my house smelled of cigarette smoke (I don't smoke), that she had chest pains and had to wash her clothing. I explained that a worker had walked out of my house with a lit cigarette and I told his boss. A person does not get chest pains from a smell, chest pains occur if a person comes directly in contact with smoke! When I emailed her about the visit, she informed me that the smoke is not good for dogs. Again, I explained to her that I DO NOT smoke. She also had posted that the dog was housebroken. When I asked her about it, the story changed. She stated that she leaves her door open for the dogs to go potty. I am recovering from a hip replacement and when she asked me to text her my address, I explained that my screen had cracked. She wrote down my address and told me that I need to get my phone fixed. Duh, that's kind of difficult to do when I was not able to drive for a few more days. I have studied nutrition for dogs for the past 30 years and asked her what she fed her dogs. This food is by far one of the worst food for a dog. She is rude, very judgemental and needs to learn how to interact with the public. P.S.- Another rescue did a home visit on Sunday, 1/29. I asked the woman if she smelled anything in my home, such as cooking smells, cigarette smells. She stated that my home was pristine and she did not smell anything.

Don’t trust this non profit. Diana can’t deal with people questioning her about the dogs she has, she doesn’t know how to communicate properly, and is very unorganized when it comes to the dogs she takes in. She didn’t tell us the compete history of the dogs behavior. Amanda doesn’t respect foster parents, she treats them like garbage. They hoard their dogs in their thrift store.

Do yourself a favor and volunteer/adopt elsewhere. Diana is one of the rudest and snarkiest people I’ve ever dealt with in MY LIFE. I fostered 2 puppies from her. One set of shots these puppies needed was done in a parking lot by her people. She provided one small bag of food, they blew through that so fast and I paid for everything. Trained these puppies, house broken, all commands, everything. She berated me about the local shelters being so full on dogs and one of the dogs I was considering adopting she was “concerned” he’d end up in the shelter, funny thing is, check out their fb page… she’s getting puppies from out of state, she’s a puppy flipper hiding behind the name of a rescue. And then charges close to $600 that she put maybe $200 dollars into. So many amazing rescues out there. You’ve been warned, don’t be as dumb as me and get duped by this con artist.

Both of my grand dogs were adopted from a Home 4 Spot. They are the best dogs we could have asked for. The foster dog parents take really good care of these dogs it shows. I would definitely recommend this rescue if you are looking to get a dog. A rescue should be your best option to gain a best friend to love and for them to love you back.

We recently adopted a sweet little dog from A Home for Spot. It was a great experience. This is the second dog we have adopted from them. They work very hard to find good secure homes for the dogs they rescue. Adopt don’t shop. There are plenty of dogs looking for a good home. Thank you A Home for Spot for doing good things.
