I’m a former employee of this hospital. And I can say they treat their employees very poorly. They were stealing money from my checks every week and other employees checks as well. The treatment employees are very disrespectful. I have never been so physically and mentally drained at a job. The kennel techs do not get treated the same way as that rest of the hospital staff. We didn’t get payed for the amount of labor we did on a daily basis. Would highly recommend not working here or bringing your animals here they are extremely unprofessional.
I had my dog deshed here and there was just as much hair on her when I picked her up as when I dropped her off. Handfuls of hair coming off of her every time I touched her. Then they told me I had to give her a optional vaccine in order to get her groomed, its optional everywhere else but at their facility its mandatory. The receptionist was rude even telling me she knew nothing about my appointment, she should definitely not be in the front greeting customers. As a manger myself, if any of my employees talked to my customers like she did, she would no longer be working for me. I do not recommend this place at all.
I've been a customer at Grace Animal Hospital for over 2 years, but my recent experience was disappointing. Despite receiving a refund for a botched grooming session, there was no apology for the rude behavior of one of their groomers, Liz. This has happened repeatedly over the past year, but I had not reported it until now. Additionally, my dog has been banned from returning because I insisted on a refund (due to the rude attitude), even though the groomer falsely claimed my dog's beard was matted to the extent that it needed to be cut off, which it was not.
After having been to 3 other vets, we are very happy to have found Grace Animal Hospital! Our kitty, Kiss, had 2 different surgeries in the last 2 months there. One was for the extraction of 2 teeth and the other was due to intestinal blockage. During his "adventure" with the intestinal blockage that almost cost him his life, Dr. Williams and the rest of the staff provided him with the best care possible and considered all possible alternatives. In the end, exploratory surgery was recommended and this revealed the intestinal blockage. We are very grateful to Dr. Williams for his expertise and guidance and to the rest of the staff for being so caring with our cat. Plus, the prices there made it possible for us to afford this care for our kitty. As long as we are in Memphis, we will never visit any other vet!
Even though I was traveling through on my way to Austin from Chicago and my beloved 15 year old Kara got very sick and after discussing w a very nice vet our options; we had to send her on the rainbow bridge. Considering its not an ER and I had no appointment , they got us in very fast and tested and checked on her very quickly. Much better then my vets in Chicago who always seem to be looking at the bottom line vs the pets welfare. I really wished I lived down in Memphis so I could make them my permanent vet for my other doggie. I have been to at least 6 vets in Kara's 10 years in chicago ( 1st 5 we lived in south florida ) and none seemed to genuinely care about animals as much as this place. Plus the crematory they sent her to was top notch. When I went to that place in Millsborough ( i believe ) to pick up her urn, i again wished I lived in Memphis so I could bury Kara there and visit her as often as possible. There is no such place in the Chicagoland area.
Wonderful experience all the way around. Dr Williams took the time to explain all steps and develop a treatment plan.
