Do not take your dogs here ever. They put dogs down, the shelter is not clean at all and the cages are tiny. They miss treat dogs weather theyre sweet or not.

We have adopted three dogs from here over the years. Two were senior dogs that we wanted to feel loved and be able to roam a large yard in their final years. The other is a hyper little bird dog that has become such a great member of the family. The staff has always been very nice and helpful.

Staff was so kind and helpful... My son was very upset about the loss of our families pet Peaches, which 13 years earlier my Mom and got here, at the Medina County animal shelter. Millie was really the one that saved us and help us heal from a broken heart. My Son hugged and kissed her the whole ride home... And cried tears of happiness for part of the ride. He just kept saying this is a dream come true. This is exactly the Dog I wanted! We are so blessed to have her as part of our family! There are so many animals that need forever homes... Instead of getting a puppy adopt from a shelter.

I got a dog here a week ago. They were nice and their adoption application process is practically nonexistent. You don't have to jump through 1000 hoops just to end out being turned down for adopting a dog. My dog, Rusty, was owner surrendered and they gave us all the info on vaccines the previous owners had provided them. Can't ask for a better experience, they were even nice when I called to make sure we wouldn't do the ~ 2 1/2 hour drive in vain.

This place is a JOKE. We end up homeless. We want our dog to go to a good home. She barks , growls a lil at one lady in entire office and "if she's gonna have an attitude she won't be any better when we leave"? That dog warden is a poor excuse for a dog warden. So because a dog barks at strangers very little literally they won't save the dog. A complete wasted trip to be turned away because a dog acts NORMAL!
