Description Please note that due to an extremely wet spring, we are still under construction and not yet open to the public. We will announce when tours resume. While building a nurturing environment for abused, abandoned, and discarded special needs farm animals, we provide a safe, loving, and permanent home where these beautiful animals may live out their lives in peace. In addition to rescue and rehabilitation of farm animals, we offer the following: Farm animal care workshops and animal therapy, petting zoo opportunities. We welcome groups and individuals by appointment for outings, field trips, birthday parties and company team building. Hours by appointment

I loved this place! We went for their new cows baby shower. Everything is by donation and they have a bunch of cool farm animals. And even a baby deer! I loved all of the animals.

I reached out numerous times in need of help with my very healthy hens, due to moving out of state. Someone did contact me eventually, asked me to text which I did. The person assured me they could help but would get back to me soon. Weeks passed with unanswered texts, Google messages, emails. It was very poor communication, if at all. My ladies, only 4 hens, were taken in by Happy Trails in Ravenna. I'll say this, Happy Trails was secure, gated, and wonderful with communication, plus my crying when surrendering my girls. Whispering Acres was not all that. In fact, before reaching out my best friend and I visited. There were unsupervised young children roaming around, no adults, didn't know where to go, and a sketchy hot tub under a pine tree. The place gave us the heebie jeebies so we left quick. Nefarious people would love this place. Keep your kids and animals safe. I'm happy for other options, even if a bit further away.

This place does amazing things for these animals to have a better life. The stories are heartbreaking, but the love and care they get from here once they are rescued gives them a 2nd chance at a brand new happy safe life. My kids loved this experience. I would encourage everyone who considers visiting here to bring some veggies and cheerios and give these animals some love and enjoy your time.

Janine is amazing and this sanctuary is absolutely beautiful. You can truly feel her love for the animals, and each resident is so wonderfully taken care of. Highly recommend stopping by for a tour as we had a great time!

Had a blast today with Janine and all the lovely farm animals today at her farm animal sanctuary, she was very patient and kind and understanding of all the human little ones today. And all the animals - from turkeys to piggies to goats and lamb and chickens - were all very kind and gentle with the little kids too. We will for sure be back soon and often!
