This has been Ollie’s vet for 2.5 years and I have nothing but wonderful things to say. We recently went in for an emergency visit and while they were fully booked, they offered us a visit at one of their other offices or the ability to squeeze us in for an emergency drop off slot. The front desk greeted my dog with pets & the tech was extremely thorough and kind. Dr Katz is wonderful, kind & didn’t rush my numerous questions. We have seen several vets (Dr. Isaacson & Dr. Ehrenman) at this practice and are very happy with all of their care. Vet care can be expensive but I feel their prices are reasonable for nyc (and for an emergency appointment we paid a fraction of what we would have paid at Verg). They have 3 locations in the area which is very accommodating when you need an appointment. My dog has had surgery at their prospect heights location & visits at crown heights as well. Stellar care all around. They treat your pet like their own.
Dr. Anilionis was amazing. I took my cat in a few weeks ago after trying multiple vets over two years who couldn't figure out what was causing her diarrhea. I was so frustrated and so worried about Priscilla. Finally, I tried this vet and she was calm and patient as I talked through my concerns. She was flexible and very clear about pricing. Ever since she started on the recommended treatment, prissy has not had any diarrhea. She is the best cat ever and I'm so glad I found this vet to make her life better. It's pricey, but comparable to others in the area, and they don't add on extra costs without prior consent unlike other vets I've experienced. Just the exam was a little over $100, but I've seen places that offer cheaper exams and still ended up adding extra costs that led to being more expensive than this place in the end. My whole vist cost about $250 plus I had to order $40 of medications online from chewy. Everyone was kind and very loving with my cat who loves the vet because she loves the attention even if it means a rabies shot.
Dr. Mathios and Dr. Tan are the best! Over the past many months my older cats have had a multitude of health issues, and they’ve both been knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate the whole time. Prices for veterinary care always seem expensive - but they aren’t disproportionately more than other providers in the area. I’m very grateful to live so close to such great care. Edit: warning for my fellow neurodivergent friends, they newly require a phone call despite having an online appointment request system and wouldn’t accommodate otherwise
Truly the best veterinary experience. Our cat and dog both see Dr. here man who is amazing!! On the off chance we’re in a pinch and she isn’t available, all the other docs are amazing as well!!! Prices are reasonable and they’re very customer centric. I CANNOT recommend Franklin ave animal hospital enough.
Franklin Ave Animal Hospital is the best vet practice in Brooklyn. All of the vets and techs are extremely kind, compassionate, and knowledgable and I recommend Franklin Ave to all of my friends who are pet parents. I brought my dog Vida here for many years and she always looked forward to her vet visits. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to Vida a few weeks ago and I will be grateful for the rest of my life for the thoughtfulness and care they provided as we helped our girl cross the rainbow bridge. Dr B, Dr Katz, and Dr Czaja thank you so much for everything 🤍
They are organized and friendly. Every staff member that’s interacted with my cats are sweet and definitely animal lovers. I feel my cats are well cared for here.
