ASPCA ENY is one of the worst organizations for animals I’ve encountered. They don’t actually help your pets—they just put you on absurdly long waitlists. To make things worse, you apparently need to be on some form of government assistance to receive any help. The way they handle their spay and neuter scheduling is a complete disaster—disorganized and thoughtless. You also need to live within certain ZIP codes to even be eligible for services, which makes no sense! If you’re an organization aiming to help animals, why does it matter where you live? It’s insane. Once again, you’re stuck dealing with automated bots, and there’s no way to speak to a live person. Even if you’re in the ‘correct’ ZIP codes, you have to wake up at 6 AM just to try and get on the waitlist. I’ve tried two locations, woke up at 5:50 AM with both phones ready, and by 6 AM, I was already getting a message saying they had enough dogs for the day. How is that even possible? Also, you can’t go inside the mobile truck to ask questions, which is ridiculous, and they hide the address! This whole system is stupid—go back to the old way of doing things.
I took my dog here on Monday and I was pleasantly surprised. I called to get an appointment and I was able to get in that same day. I was expecting to see a lot of people and to wait a long time, but that was not the case. The place was empty and I was in and out in less than an hour with my dog’s medicine in hand. It was also very clean. I would highly recommend this clinic.
This is an amazing place for the community. The staff is compassionate and professional and will work with you to make sure your pet can stay healthy. Truly an asset for east NY and pet owners all over Brooklyn. They helped me when my baby was ill and went above and beyond.
Security did a Fantastic job. Doctors did a Great job. Place is clean and there was Not along wait at all to be checked in or out. I would recommend this place for my pets needs and vaccine.
Ever since this place opened I’ve been taking my pets there, absolutely without a doubt a great and safe place for your pet(s). I highly recommend this facility. The staff there is great and their hospitality and patience is a plus. I sincerely love this location wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else without seeing them first..
NYCHA was giving me a hard time with my dog which is only 14 lbs., there is a six month wait all over the city for spay/neuter and since I was about to lose my apartment, the ASPCA was able to help me keep my child!! Thanks to them I could breathe again and have my mental stability back!! Thanks ASPCA
