My sister recommended One Love when we were looking for a new vet in Bay Ridge. We've been bringing our kids with paws here for a few years now. In January, we returned for their annual visits, but with a focus on one of our kids' unusual behavior. They recommended various tests and ultra sounds to diagnosis our sick loved one. Some of their offerings, like the recommended tests, are quite expensive but it's offset by the knowledge and experience of the doctors. The entire medical team and staff seem to care for animals. In the end, our beloved cat was diagnosed with a terminal disease with weeks to months to live. We immediately put her on subcutaneous fluids every other day. The vet techs were always quick to bring her to the back and return her. Her bright spirit survived two additional months until it was clearly time to end her pain. On the day we brought her in to put her to sleep, there was a candle lit in the reception area with a sign saying to please be mindful of noise as someone is saying goodbye to their loved one. When we entered the room, there was a pretty blanket on the table for her to lay on. They gave us as much time as we wanted before the process started, and once it began was swift and painless to our baby. Naturally, we were heartbroken. Within the week, we received a condolence card signed by all of the doctors as well as her paw prints and a clipping of her hair. Their thoughtfulness was very touching. With their compassionate care, One Love made a heart breaking decision as seamless as possible. Thank you for treating her with dignity and respect. Your professionalism is much appreciated during this difficult period. When the time comes for our other fur baby to cross the Rainbow Bridge, we find comfort knowing we have a trusted resource to turn to.

Where to begin? This is the best animal medical center in my experience, my son Eddie is having issues and the caring professional care he received was unsurpassed, the doctors are awesome and the entire team is extremely caring and helpful but most of all very supportive, we never want our furry babies to get ill, but when they do we like them to be in the best possible hands available and Eddie and I were referred to this awesome place by our loving Barbara and Husband Andrew, they bring their friend Kelly there, She’s a Beautiful pug and Eddie’s Best Friend, I highly recommend One Love Animal Hospital to everyone, there is no safer place to be. We've been bringing our dog to One Love since we brought him home as a puppy 7 years ago. The doctors here are caring and knowledgeable, and always call us the day after his care (even a routine vaccine) to make sure he's alright. Definitely recommend to all pet parents in the area!

Hands down, the best care you can get for your pets! Dr. Matos and the staff are exceptional! I’ve been with them since my first dog and now with my rescue pup! They are so loving and compassionate with every single move they make. I trust them wholeheartedly and I couldn’t be happier with the care they give my fur babies! Highly highly recommend!
