The upper level management and staff have been a God send helping my family and myself in a very stressful and rough time in our life. They have been nothing but amazing, kind, thoughtful, and giving. They've gone out of their way numerous times to make this stressful, depressing, hard time not so hard. I absolutely cannot thank Tosha and Cheryl enough for all that they've done for my son, and myself. They've never looked down on us, or made us feel less than because of the situation we're in. They've cared and been there when others have turned their backs... They've truly been a God send... If you ever see this Thank You from the bottom of hearts for everything...

Shepard's Place and it's staff are really great and helpful people. They help with not only a roof over your head but they also feed you and clothe you. They also give you time to regroup so I recommend if your ever in trouble and need a place to stay and regroup Shepard place is the the place to go. All the Staff is wonderful caring and God based. They are here to help you but you have to also help yourself. So thank you Everyone especially the Managers, Shirl and Ruth and the Director God Bless all of you. I'd like to have a receipt... not of money value, just what I brought. Or give the kids the gifts myself. Just so I can make sure the kids get what I donated n not the staff. I read reviews n hear from friends.

To whom it may concern this a good place some people don't like the rules there only doing there job they say mean things about the staff which is not true the staff is nice and try to work with every one the best they can they have always been nice to me and everyone hope God continues to bless them Thankyou

I’ve been to quite a few facilities and this by far is the worst place I have been regarding the care.It has great potential but it’s sad that they have people working here that seems like they don’t like their job they are very rude to the residence, I complemented one of the workers on her car and she just looked at me with a disgusted look on her face. She should’ve said thank you but instead she just stood there. I asked her, if it was a Kia forte and she said yeah with an attitude. I cannot believe it. I have done nothing to this woman at all I walk in and she’s extremely rude to me and the three other workers did not say anything. I honestly think it’s because I’m white.They were all black and I’m white I did nothing to the woman and she looked at me with disgust like she was better than me.

Stayed here in 2007 they extended my stay because I got a job. I was only 18 and there was this one guy who worked there that knew I wasn't long for the streets, so he spent hours upon hours convincing my family to take me back. His name was "Mr Lewis" maybe the spelling is wrong but years later I called and he wasn't working there anymore. Just wanted to thank these guys for helping me out.
