Rebas Animal Rescue staff has an outstanding customer service! Very friendly and knowledgeable and passionate about the animals there. With great customer service I know for sure they also give the best service for the animals that stay there. I LOVE that you must match with the animal you are seeking to adopt and is not a first come first serve situation. These animals deserve the right family as their forever homes. I adopted a dog there and they match me for the right reason only. I met the dog and the staff to be sure this dog was suitable for me. Long story short I was able to adopt this beautiful puppy at an event they were holding at their center. I absolutely recommend this place over any other shelter in VA. Shout out to all the staff that works there! Y’all are doing an amazing job and I know all of the animals there will be adopted soon! Keep giving great customer service and that same energy when I adopted my pup! 🐶

The rescue is well cleaned and kept up, we were able to view the animals in the back and the area was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and answered all of our questions. We went in to look at a specific dog, however, based on our families needs after a meet & great they recommended another dog. When we met Moss/Hoss he immediately was friendly, new basic commands, and was a perfect fit. The following morning we scheduled a meet & greet with our dogs, and the staff did an amazing job helping introduce the dogs. Needless to say we left with Moss/Hoss, and he is the perfect fit for us. The staff definitely has good background information on the dogs personalities and behaviors to assist in finding a dog that will fit your needs.

They don’t return phone calls after leaving a message about trying to surrender a Great Pyrenees. I have even emailed. And I reached out after a local shelter recommended them. But clearly they have dropped the ball and don’t care about helping someone in need.

My husband and I went to Reba’s “just to look” one Saturday morning. The entire experience was wonderful. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. The facility was very nice and clean. The kennels were extremely well maintained. Not a single animal was laying / sitting in its own mess. We ended up doing a “meet and greet” with “Ollie”(who is now Scout) and we instantly fell in love. All of the staff members were pleasant to work with and made the adoption process so simple. Even after bringing Scout home, the staff have been so helpful and responsive to any questions that I have had. I highly recommend rescuing your new fur baby from Reba’s. 🩵🐾

Can’t say enough great things about Reba’s!! The facility is fantastic and very well maintained. The staff is incredible, and they genuinely care about the animals and making a great transition from shelter to permanent home! Don’t buy! Rescue!

I don’t know how Jamie North or Sarah Connor (the second is obviously a fake name) can leave reviews since Rebas’s isn’t open yet for adoptions. These are clearly people with agendas. I urge you to go to Reba’s when it’s open, and see what a gorgeous facility has been created. It looks like it belongs in Beverly Hills instead of Chesapeake. It’s a no kill shelter that is desperately needed in the area.
