We just bought a puppy from Gavin and he was so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. They have excellent customer service and they treat all the animals great. I highly recommend getting your next pet from here, they are amazing!

We love this store! The staff have always been really helpful and there is always someone available to help us. We have A LOT of pets: turtle, dog, fish, gecko, bunny.. and this shop has everything we need. Our kids love cricket day when we go down and buy our little bag of crickets and see all the cool animals! My son is obsessed with scorpions and the guy we talked to was happy to show us some and tell us all about them! Seriously cool shop with great staff!

I used to love this place and have been there more than 3 times to play with the dogs. The conditions these dogs are kept in is horrible and they are always so depressed. Every time that I have went I have been able to play with a dog, I am 17 and have given them my ID to show my age, they have always let me play with them. I go in today because my cousin wanted to go play with a dog for her birthday and we stood there for 20 minutes ignoring us and so we left and came back later and the guy working (owner I think) ignored us and then finally looked at us and said “what do you guys want” and we asked if we could play with the boxer, keep in mind we have payed $10 dollars every time PER dog, the worker told us he needed an ID to prove we’re 18 and we respectfully said we have never needed to be 18 before and asked if it has changed and he said “it’s probably one of the new employees letting you” but last time we were here HE was the one who let us. Absolutely ridiculous customer service and treatment towards us and the dogs. NEVER buy from here or even visit.

As a passionate aquarium enthusiast, I recently visited Cedar Pet Supply with high hopes of adding new additions to my tank. Unfortunately, my experience quickly turned sour due to the appalling treatment I received from the store owner, David, and the concerning quality of their fish. I purchased eight fish, each priced at a hefty $10, only to have four of them perish within the first two days due to what appeared to be swim bladder issues. Concerned, I meticulously checked my tank's water parameters, which all registered within optimal ranges—0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and nitrates below 10 ppm. Assuming there was an issue with my tank, I returned to Cedar Pet Supply to purchase replacements, only to find that the fish still at their store exhibited the same distressing symptoms. Upon explaining this troubling pattern to an employee, I was offered a refund or store credit for the deceased fish—a gesture I appreciated. However, the situation quickly deteriorated from there. Despite assurances from another employee that I could receive credit for replacement fish after waiting three days for a new shipment, I was met with resistance when I returned. David, the owner, outright refused to honor the agreement, leaving me frustrated and bewildered. Over the next three weeks, I made repeated attempts to address the issue with David, only to be met with empty promises and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. The lack of accountability and professionalism displayed by the owner is utterly unacceptable. In a final insult, after being strung along for weeks, I was offered a mere 50% discount on a new purchase of replacement fish as compensation for being sold diseased fish—a laughable attempt to rectify their egregious mistake. My experience at Cedar Pet Supply has left me thoroughly disillusioned with their quality, customer service, and integrity. In contrast, other pet shops in St. George have consistently provided me with exemplary service and care. I strongly advise fellow aquarium enthusiasts to steer clear of Cedar Pet Supply and explore alternative options, whether it be patronizing other local businesses or seeking reputable online suppliers. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment—I certainly wish I had.
