I highly recommend you give your support to RSQ! Kelli Stokes and all of the volunteers dedicate their lives to saving animals and providing them top notch health care, enrichment, and love. Give them a visit to their cat room, dog room, and thrift store. Volunteering and visiting at open house (Thursdays) gives me so much joy, I wish I could adopt every cat here. I love RSQ!

edit since my first visit in january 2023: RSQ has made more improvements to their cat and dog spaces! they recently completely remade the "catio" to be bigger, safer and more comfortable for the cats. they don't only care about cats and dogs, but all animals! not just the ones we keep as pets. i've seen RSQ take in a rooster, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs and the iconic potbelly pigs leroy and mike. also, their adoption system may be more difficult to go through than other places but consider: RSQ takes some of the worst cases of abuse and neglect i've seen state-wide and is the only animal rescue in southern utah that serves rural areas. they're so thorough and tough so no animal they adopt out will experience horrible things ever again. original review: i knew about RSQ for many years before i had a chance to check it out and i was NOT disappointed! this is a lovely place full of lovely volunteers who want the best for all the animals in their care. the cat and dog rooms are very spacious and both have plenty of food, water and toys! 1 year update: theyve only continued to improve and add more for the cats and dogs care!! the RSQ team is dedicated to the health and safety of all their animals

This place is super clean and it's a great animal rescue. I adopted a cat from here and it was the best thing I ever did. There's a cat (or dog) here just waiting to be your best friend.

I volunteered for my sanity, i like animals more than humans sometimes. KELLY is superhero everything. I volunteered for a afternoon, she dors this everyday and as we were leaving close to 6pm, she was still cleaning cages, feeding the special needs, and every animal. She knows every cat by name and there is.over 67 cats!!! How do you do that? I loved her devotion to ALL animals! I loved volunteering because her spark,zest, love for each animal is addicting. I can't wait to volunteer and y'all she is in desperate need of fans, misters, indoor cooling system, it's Super HOT around the rescue and most of these animals depend on cooling system...

An amazing animal rescue group who obviously love the animals they work with. We adopted a dog from here and the staff were so patient and helpful with us while we found the perfect dog for our family. The cat room is AMAZING! We will definitely be adopting from them again in the future.

Nothing good to say. Rescued our dog almost 4 years ago. Had issues with food aggression a couple years ago so per contract we tried giving her back but they wouldn’t take her. Than claim they’ve had nothing but issues with my wife when it was only the one time because of the food aggression! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
