They have it good, the rules & regulations they have in place make it so nice for the animals. All animals that are there are treated very good & get adopted pretty fast. Healthy, clean, friendly, organized, but the best thing is the animals come 1st.

They held a pop up on west cliff a couple weeks back and we fell in love with one of the dogs! We brought our current dog down to the new facility, What a great space. We introduced the 2 dogs and within an hour, we were driving our new family member home. The staff were all excellent, clean rooms, awesome play area etc. Couldn't recommend enough! Go adopt an animal, don't buy 1! Thank you SPCA

12 years ago I got the finest used, 4 yo Chihuahua on the planet. He is now 16, and though his days are definitely numbered, he has been my best friend and constant companion. Over the years I have dropped off clean used towels which they are always grateful for, then chat with them for a while. That are a fine group of people and their new building is a great place. Once Houdi is gone, I plan to volunteer there for a while to keep in touch with animals and give back a little to the place where I found my best friend!

We have been donating tennis balls here and every time we go here we are always amazed by their staff. They are all so kind and hard working. Plus this location is one of the cleanest SPCAs we have ever seen. 💯

I got a call last week approving my application for a dog. I drove from redding (4.5 hrs) Over the weekend . I double check the website to make sure he was still available. I called on saturday, They advise me He had some concerning medical issues that will need to be addressed. On sunday I went there to see Him (during the scheduled hours for adopters) and ask about how to finish the adoption process. I was told no, he had other inquires and if I wanted to see him to make an appointment for Tuesday that he was not available to me due to his condition and other adopters...poor experience and unfriendly staff. They made me feel like I was not good enough for him even though my application was approved, THEY called me prior and new I was driving down from Redding. Very upsetting experience.

These people care at the highest level I've seen. They even rotate out the music daily for the pets to have a variety, as well as treats and games. These pets are soooo well loved and cared for.
