I am so grateful for Latah Creek Animal Hospital and staff! Our little family is with dog and a newly adopted kitten and I’m a helicopter animal parent. 😅 We just moved to the state last July and the care we’ve received from Latah Creek since is AMAZING! When we are treated, it’s not just the animals, but both myself and them are treated like a unit because humans and animals affect each other. Latah Creek staff are super aware we care and it’s almost like the kindness from the staff and doctors treat we humans too. Grateful to call Latah Creek our providers and they are pawpular in our home 🫶🏼🐕🐈‍⬛💯🙌🏽.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Latah Creek Animal Hospital. I am new to town and was looking for a vet who could make the experience for my senior cat less stressful. I have never experienced this kind of warmth, calmness, and attentiveness at any other vet. The staff made sure there were no other pets in the area when I brought him inside. They even have a fish tank and shelves on the wall for the kitties feel more comfortable! For the first time I feel like my cat is no longer afraid of going to the vet.

First of all, I came to Latah Creek Animal Hospital scared and an emotional wreck. I am a true believer in the intuition of our critters, and I was doing my best to stay a pillar of strength for my little kitty (whose name is Shark Rad). I was not having much success. Sharky had been diagnosed with a terminal disease. His last vet gave me only one option: comfort and euthanasia. I brought Sharky into LCAH for some other guidance, and not only did they help me to find resources, they were committed to his comfort, and mine as well. I’ve tried to not be a helicopter cat-dad, and the staff at LCAH have been remarkably patient with my constant stories and jabber about my kitty. We are nearing the end of his treatment for that disease and at the end of it have every reason to expect him to lead a happy and healthy kitty life. I will be forever grateful to the staff (the ENTIRE staff) of LCAH. And as long as we live in the area (which we intend to do) Sharky will be a patient there! There is no situation that I can fathom where I would recommend LCAH too much; if you’re wise enough to give them a chance you will never consider anyone else!

Recently we had two new kittens spayed and neutered on the same day at Latah Creek Veterinary Hospital. It was one of the best vet experiences I’ve ever had. They care for your pets like they’re their own and make sure your pet is comfortable before they even approach them. I also appreciate that they are fully transparent about your pet’s health, the care they are providing, the cost and even share details about the ins and outs of the procedures. I am learning so much more about how to better care for my pets because they willingly share information and keep me informed. I even got pictures of my kittens after surgery, so I knew right away they were both doing great!!

Most vets are good at taking care of your animal’s physical health, but Latah Creek is so much better because they are as concerned about the animal’a emotional well being. As mom to a fearful dog, that’s so important

The staff here has done absolute wonders to help my super nervous dog every time he’s come in for a visit. My Great Dane has always been anxious when going to the vet but they take extra steps to make him feel at ease. Things like calming pheromone bandannas, sitting on the ground with him, moving slowly to not startle him, pre-medicating when needed for shots or procedures, have made a world of difference to both him and I. As a helicopter dog mom, I would recommend Latah Creek to anyone needing to have their pet seen but especially those with super nervous dogs/cats because of the amazing care and compassion they have. I can only give a 5/5 stars on the rating scale but if I could I would give them a 10/5!
