Very POOR service. I was told to expect test results in 14 days. However, 39 days after placing my order, I receive an email (not labeled Neogen Paw Print Genetics but another name) telling me they need another sample. I missed the email because I didn't recognize the name. When I called 49 days after placing order, I finally learned they need a new sample. How long would they have let this go? I did not receive any phone call or additional emails. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was very satisfied and happy with the original Paw Print Genetic company. It is under new ownership and they do not measure up. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR SERVICE.

I don't normally write poor reviews but this time I have too. I spend almost $4000 for DNA breed health panel on my litter of 10 puppies. I sent all the swabs in when the pups were 4 weeks old. I got 8 of the pups results after 6 weeks and I'm still waiting on 2 of the pups DNA results. I had to delay sending pups to homes to make sure the pups I planned on keeping for my breeding program had the best genetics for eliminating issues. Now I am at puppies 11 weeks old and my one person getting one of the two pups I'm still waiting on result is impatiently waiting to take her pup home. I've had great luck with Paw Print in the past and I like and trust their results, but the speed at which I'm getting the results isnt' working for me anymore. I hate to look at another company, but fear I'm going to have to for my next litter. Just disappointed in a great company that has now dropped the ball.

Zero stars. I paid extra to get the test kit as soon as possible but a week later and after three calls and long hold times, I was told that FedEx gave my order to UPS and it was somewhere in Kansas! I received a tracking number the day after I ordered the kit. I tried it every single day only to get a message that the number is invalid. I demanded a refund of the kit and shipping. My poor dog is sick and I have been anxiously awaiting the test kit, even staying home, so I wouldn't miss the delivery. I wish I had read the other reviews before blindly trusting this company. Their incompetence has possibly shortened my dog's life.

We @crossfielddoodles have used Paw Print Genetics for many years. What a wonderful company that taught us so many things and took time to help educate us. We have been disappointed in the recent merger with Neogen. The delays on testing our breeders has left us waiting on testing and interactions with Megan Z. in customer service makes us wonder if we want to continue using this company. We hope the new path for Neogen's Paw Print Genetics returns the company we knew as reliable, yet attentive to breeders. Responsible breeders select breeders based on temperament. Temperament testing is best done around 6 weeks of age. Delaying testing of our puppies over four weeks means we cannot make a selection in a timely fashion based on temperament PLUS genetics. We hope to continue our once-healthy relationship with what we consider the flagship company in canine genetics.

I ordered a parentage test and paid for Express Shipping because a parentage test is something that you want the results of as quickly as possible. Instead of sending me swabs for the Dam, Sire, and Puppy they only sent one single swab for the puppy. They said they already had a DNA sample on file for the Dam and Sire. Those samples that they had on file were three years old so it was almost guaranteed that they wouldn’t be able to extract anything from it. It makes zero sense to not send out a swab for the Dam and Sire with a parentage test so you will have a fresh sample to work with. Of course the old samples were not viable so they had to send out two more swabs about two weeks after the fact. The current estimated completion date is now about four weeks after the original estimated completion date simply because they cut corners and tried to save a few cent on some swabs. Four weeks is an eternity when it comes to a parentage test. Paw Print started out as a good company but they fell off a cliff a while back. Just look at their recent reviews on here. It’s sad to see them sabotage their own business the way they are doing.

This company’s service has gone into the toilet since they merged with Neogen. They are the most expensive DNA company out there, have the worst turn around time, and worst customer service. I submitted a specimen over a month ago, paid full price and no one can tell me where in the process it is. To make things worse, reps of this company are offering coupons with substantial discounts and guaranteed turn around times which I am sure they are putting ahead of other customers. I am leery about even trusting the results coming from this company. It saddens me to see what was once a stellar company go into such a decline. I would not use their services until they get their act back together.
