My good friend was in a car accident and her dog was in the car as well. I didnt know where Bella (the dog) or Roxy had been taken to for a few days and did not know her condition. The two of them were on my mind daily. Finally i got in contact with Officer Hendrix. Over the phone at first and it was not sounding too positive for Bella. Officer Hendrix was excited when I asked to come and see Bella. She did not know Bella but had bonded with her and Bella had made her way into her heart. I went a couple days later and Belle had seemed to get better over the weekend and we talked about me Bringing her home. Finally the day came that i was going to pick up Bella. Everyone at the shelter was excited. Bella had been there for two weeks. I cannot thank the staff enough for the care they gave Bella. The day before i got her Officer Hendrix gave me the news that there was going to be no charge. I was speechless. They were a true Godsend and i am eternally thankful. Thank you from the deepest of our hearts. Love, Bella Roxanne and Vonda i will come back and post pic
I lost my dog andi found him at Metro Animal Services in Puyallup. They had him for 13 days before I had a chance to pick him up. I called everyday they were open and dach day I was informed that he was doing very well. When I picked him up, it cost me
Staff is very caring and friendly! The place is clean and animals are taken care of. Also a good place to buy pet toys for a donation!
They helped me post info about my lost dog. Very kind and helpful. The dog was found another way but I'm grateful
On the phone and in person, staff were very kind and clear communicators during a difficult decision to euthanize my beloved cat. I’m grateful for the affordable option.
I called to inquire about a barn cat we lost. I was instantly feeling judged by the person on the phone. She was not kind in her questioning. I understand they have to protect the animals but when a worried pet owner who is distraught about their lost pet calls it is uncalled for to treat them like a negligent pet owner.
