I’ve been taking my dog here for over a year and have no complaints. We typically see Dr.Diaz but have also had appointments with Dr. Fernandez and both are wonderful! We ask a lot of questions and have a very large, energetic, friendly dog and all of the staff have clearly been great with our dog as the vet is his favorite place to go (he gets more excited for the vet than the pet store). The receptionists and vet assistants have also been great to speak with, I truly can’t say enough good things about this place!

Horrible horrible traumatizing experience with their vet. I took my baby for his wellness and dental cleaning. He stopped eating from that day on and he has passed away from severe dehydration and lack of nutrition leaving us devastated. They killed him with their utter incompetency. If vets cant even handle their wellness and dental cleaning, what good are they for? And guess what? Banfield wants its monthly fees without fail. They want my money and my pet’s life so their incompetent vets can practice their vet skills on our pets. Banfield probably hires in bulk as their vets

Staff is very friendly and kind. Dr. Fernandez is awesome! I totally recommend you taking your pet to see him for anything! He recently did a dental cleaning on my pet and it went very well.

Extremely disappointed with my experience here for my male cat’s neuter. It started with the first appointment for his initial exam… I had scheduled online and called them 2 days ahead of time to confirm details of the appointment when they told me they had no record of the appointment despite me receiving two confirmation texts and emails (yes I scheduled at the correct location). The front desk person was great at making sure I get this appointment rescheduled so I will give them that. Fast forward, I call a few days before my cat’s neuter appointment to get an estimate of the visit and I was advised of the FIRST cost, which was significantly higher than what I have ever paid at any other veterinary clinic in the recent past for a male cat neuter. On the day of surgery at check-in, the lady at the front desk then quotes me another price over $100 more than what I was told 3 days prior and I said absolutely not and she then took something off and said “oh they added a medicine but he doesn’t really need that.” I am then quoted another price $40 higher than what I was previously told but I agreed anyway and signed the estimate. 3 times the cost estimate has changed at this point and the explanation given was that they just added something on but it was unnecessary. I requested when dropping off my pet that his nails be clipped while there (was never done by the way). I go to pick my boy up in the afternoon and I am then given a different cost for the FOURTH time and I am again met with “oh they added something on.” I am also told that my pet will need to have a 2 week follow up for the surgery completed and guess what! it will be an additional fee for that!! I get home and read the whole detailed invoice for this visit and realize I was charged another $80 for an “initial exam” when my pet just had one about 2 weeks ago. Seems to me this clinic is extremely money hungry. I have many issues with this whole experience - if a doctor completes a surgery, all follow-ups and post operative appointments that are recommended for said surgery should be included in cost for said surgery especially when it is hundreds of dollars more expensive than competing veterinary hospitals. This place made me feel incredibly taken advantage of and I will not be returning nor referring.

They are very professional and give me the time I need for my questions. Even though I have a clinic 5 minutes from my house, I prefer to go to Chantilly, which gives me a lot of confidence and cares for my pet.

After driving a hour to this location the Vet that heads this location told me that she is the owner of the location, which she’s not and declined to offer the free the consult as negotiated with the rescue that I’m fostering with. Would have preferred to have this information before hand and did not appreciate the rude approach that this Veterinarian took. I would not recommend this location don’t think they are very professional. I do think it’s fair practice to change things up at the time of arrival.
