Was looking for a dog, refused to let me adopt anything because we have a elderly little female pit bull mix, she has something against pit bulls, was pretty rude lady, I see other reviewers said the same. I have been involved in animal rescue with a shepherd breed group and people like this are a detriment to the animals, one interaction from this women and no one will adopt from them. They have no website, no Facebook? etc so how are these poor animals supposed to get adopted out? I noticed the local Sheriff does not contract with them but with a private local shelter. I do not think the state or national Humane Society should allow this group to use their name and sully it. They seem more like a group that takes in donations but does not adopt out which I have seen before in animal rescue.

This lady that answered the phone was very rude. Hung up on me, when I called back said " I wish you luck" and "I have no time for this." I will be finding out who the owner is so I can report her and also to the BBS. Possibly even to The News Review. My boxer dog ended up passing away last night instead of being able to get him into the vet.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life, truly. I called to get information on rehoming a dog and she was incredibly cold and unreasonably rude. I highly suggest this establishment hires someone else to pick up the phone. Her attitude was completely unnecessary.

They not ensure the re-use of household items, clothes and collectibles and provide them at a very reasonable cost to shoppers , they also pay for the veterinarian care and bullet-proof vests for the K-9 Unit of the Roseburg Police Department; privide pet food for those temporarily experiencing hardship; and more.
