Love how friendly all the staff is. I just found out about Dr. Smiths departure and my heart breaks because she really treated my dog shorty the best. When looking for vets im glad we got lucky with her. Never had any issues everytime ive come. I havent met the new vet yet but i have high standards after having Dr.Smith…. Dr. Smith if you end up seeing this one day shorty will miss you and thank you for taking care of him

Somehow my last review was deleted. So I'll say it again. I'll never forgive them for coming in to take care of the transaction in the middle of them inserting the needle in my dog while they were putting him down. They should have taken care of all that before they even touched my dog if that's their policy. I completely missed the transition between him being awake and asleep before he was put down and I will literally never forgive your company for that. If you're in this kind of business a little bit of manners and couthness goes a long way. Nothing you respond or say to this message is going to change the fact that you've blemishes the last memory I had with my dog. Nothing.

The quality of care has drastically declined and the prices are overly inflated. My most recent visit to WB, the vet injured my dog and brushed it off with a laugh. He needed a surgery and I was told it would be around $3,000. I took him to another Vet and got it done and a couple more things done for $1300, the surgery itself was around $950 by the other vet. Wrightsville Beach Vet charged me just about that for a X-ray. The quality of care and attention my dog got made him and myself much more comfortable and very different than at WB vet.

As a new pet owner I haven't had a lot of experience with vets so I didn't exactly know what to expect but these guys were absolutely amazing! They were amazing with my cats and they talked to me in layman's terms so I knew exactly what was going on and what I could do to help fix it. Lilith and Persephone loved them! I definitely recommend these guys to any new pet owner or anyone in the area looking for a vet!

This is the worst veterinary clinic I have ever been to. Despite my regular vet leaving the practice, I saw one of the 2 vets they have there because it was an emergency. My dog had been vomiting and had diarrhea for 2 days and I was worried something was wrong. When I took him there, they said the first thing we need to do is get an X-Ray to see if there is an obstruction. I have their CareClub plan that covers most vaccines for puppies, but not X-Rays. $800 later, the lab report reads verbatim: "Gastric and intestinal soft tissue material may represent foreign material, normal food, or a combination". The doctor then tells me that he will need a $4,000 surgery to remove the obstruction that we are not 100% certain is even there, and it may just be him digesting his breakfast. They said I could either go across the street to the emergency clinic or wait until tomorrow and come back to get more X-Rays to see if the "obstruction" is moving on it's own. I called my usual vet after this visit and he asked what the blood work said. They did not do any bloodwork (which is covered under the CareClub plan). The next day I took my dog to his new practice, and he simply had a stomach bug. Please do not trust your pets with this place. They are losing staff left and right and are compensating for this loss by charging more and more. By far the worst experience you will have with your pet. I almost paid $4,000 for an unnecessary and dangerous surgery due to their recommendation. Attached is a picture of my dog who hid under my legs the entire time, and I could hear him crying from the back room.

I'd been using WBAH for two years until now. I came in two months ago to have my pet tested for heartworm and update my address for my medication subscription, and received nothing-- when I called in I was told they had the address wrong and that nothing was going to be done about the medication I'd paid for and hadn't received.
