They were rude every time I talked to them I surrendered my dog because where I was moving didn’t allow pets and I had a 2 month baby so I had to do what I could I told them before hand if there is any reason you would want to put him down call me they didn’t and when I called 2 months later to check on him and come get him if he wasn’t adopted he was already gone/passed he was only a year old knew many commands and health as ever the last couple month we ran into a flea problem the only thing with him chewing his butt but with a bath he was fine didn’t scratch or chew they put him down with out calling me or letting me know that they even did that I had to find out 2 months later when I had found a home where I could keep him after I was told this the lady I spoke to told me she would have someone call me back and explain why and I never received a call not to mention I had to call the shelter waiting in the heat with my baby the day they were supposed to get him at first they told me they couldn’t take him not once but twice than I had to get someone else to call and they finally came out first pic was the day before they came to pick him up when getting off the phone with them this last time to find out why bc he itch he stated no one would adopt a dog like that I SAID I WOULD COME GET HIM NO MATTER WHAT IF YALL WERE JUST GOING TO KILL HIM HE WAS SWEET AMAZING SMART PROTECTING HE DIDNT HAVE TO DIE

I went to animal control to ask questions about two dogs I rescued. The lady at the front desk was helpful and calm the Animal Control lady in the back I guess the one who picks up the dogs or whatever she does there well she was a complete witch She was so harsh and said if there is Any aggression towards other animals they •will get the needle right In Them" no questions asked, I mean really! Needless to say I left there in tears. I rescued these dogs from a bad situation not to put them in another and one of them yes would be better as an only pet, she is a really good girl, she just wants to have all of the attention, so yep she is jealous. I mean seriously there are a lot of dogs that just don't like some other dogs in their space, she doesn't go running after them to start fights and all just like some people don't like other people which she would be great for haha they would get along great together. I mean people suck in this case and of all the reviews I read this place is horrible, how can you be so ugly. I understand that there is an overload of animals but if you're gonna be in this business be and try your best to want to help not just to get rid of. That lady needs to be in one of those kennels just for one day. She sure needs a lesson to be a better person. Makes me sad and ashamed that people in my hometown are that horrible.

Totally didn't care about my 14yr old Pomeranian getting mauled by neighbors Pitt bull while my partner was walking her on a leash. They don't believe in telling adopters about the instincts of the animals they adopt. They only care about optics and of course $. Definitely not animal or community.

Come to my house over a dog I got 2 weeks ago who was skinny told me they’d be back in 4 days which would be today at 8 am to make sure I had rabies heartworm and flea treatment which legally I only have to do rabies and they aren’t here good don’t come at 10 thinking I’m going to be home 🫡

Absolutely HORRIBLE place and staff, I found a cat and unfortunately couldn’t keep her so I brought her in and was accused of basically dropping off my animal since I had her in a kennel I grabbed from home, then when I asked if it came to her being put down Is there anyway to get a call before and was told “well we’re full so if we have to put her down that’s what we’re going to do. We don’t make calls to people we’re too full”. It was a heavier white women who seemed like she hates her life, absolutely not how you treat people who bring in an animal. DO NOT BRING ANY ANIMALS HERE

My outdoor cat was taken in by a neighbor mistakenly thinking it was a stray and took it in here to check for a chip, this place told them she didn’t have one! (which is a lie) because I still have the paperwork from when I took her to get spayed/chipped 3 years ago along with the tattoo most vets will put so that other places will know. And they told the lady that if she left my cat with them there’s a strong possibility of euthanization without consent after release of guardianship from them. Luckily the lady is also a fellow animal lover and immediately snatched her back! Doesn’t even seem like they looked but would not trust this place given other people reviews as well. Someone save the animals
